  I've been a regular customer at this Safeway for quite some time, which is why I'm writing this review. Unfortunately, I've been consistently disappointed by my interactions with one of the self-checkout employees, an older woman with short black pixie-cut hair and a slightly hunched posture. I'm not sure if other reviewers are referring to the same employee (Leilani). Over multiple visits, I've felt singled out by her rude behavior. She seems unusually focused on me whenever I shop and often follows or closely monitors my transactions in a way that I haven't observed with other customers. As a customer, I can't help but wonder whether bias may be playing a role, although I can't say for certain. Whenever I ask for help with coupons or pricing, she often appears visibly annoyed. She tends to double-check everything in a manner that feels less like customer service and more like suspicion. Even simple interactions, such as asking whether I need a bag, come across as dismissive or condescending. What makes this especially frustrating is that I've always been polite, greeted her respectfully, and thanked her for her assistance. Yet her responses are often cold and unfriendly. After experiencing this repeatedly, it's difficult not to feel that I'm being treated differently. Honestly, I’d rather take my business elsewhere than be treated this way. No customer should have to deal with repeated rudeness while simply trying to shop for groceries, and it can easily put a damper on the rest of the day. I've also noticed that management continues to have her working in this role despite numerous customer complaints about her behavior. That is disappointing, as the concerns raised by customers appear to have gone unaddressed. If these interactions continue, I will consider escalating my concerns through the appropriate channels. Every customer deserves to be treated with courtesy, professionalism, and respect, regardless of their background.

  Kind of expensive for the area, they took 15 years to replace faulty entry doors and went with a far narrower design, and currently it's a few days until memorial day and they have a very overfull trash roll-off dumpster that has made the whole area around and in the store smell like something died. Waste management is a few miles away, no excuse not to get it replaced.
