  We rarely go to breakfast while visiting AF due to morning hikes but today we decided to try morning star & so glad we did. The owner gave us a warm greeting & then turned us over to Judy, she’s a doll. Our breakfast was fantastic. I had huevos rancheros w/house made beef chorizo, not greasy & sooo good. My husband had ckn fried steak ( very tender) & eggs, he loved it. He said the red sauce was one of the best he’s ever had. We’ll definitely go back for the food & service!!!

  We had such a wonderful experience here that we ended up eating here twice during our stay in Angel Fire. The food was delicious—especially the burgers and pies, which were definite standouts. Judy provided exceptional service accommodating our large family party of 12, including two infants. She was incredibly welcoming, and attentive. Great food, fantastic service, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommend, and we’ll absolutely be back the next time we’re in Angel Fire!

  The online ordering was so easy and quick. The food was ready for pick-up fast and ready when I arrived. I am not the most efficient person when it comes to ordering our meals online, I must admit this was one of the easiest website orders I have experienced. We got the Monday special, which is "Monday Meatloaf Day"!! As usual, it was delicious and hot. Thank you for giving us this option. We love to visit your place but sometimes, we want to just stay home. It is really great to see smiling faces for both our visits and online order pick-ups! :)

  Exceptional food, everything is homemade. Exceptional service and a vibrant cozy atmosphere. My husband devoured his Salisbury steak special before I could get a pic. I got chicken strips which were piping hot and delicious. They serve the “good fries”. They even had sweet tea. We will be back for sure. I wish I’d gotten the pic before we started eating. They also have soft serve. My husband got the swirl cup and it was full to the brim.

  We made a point to eat a linner here (combination lunch/dinner) because they close at 3:00. Just a note, they have a separate menu for breakfast that isn’t available after 11:00 AM so we ordered off their lunch menu. I ordered the chili fries with beef and hubby ordered the chicken quesadilla. Both were excellent. Somehow they managed to keep the fries crispy underneath all that chili. I also ordered the Christmas sauce topping when asked if I wanted red sauce, green sauce or Christmas sauce (both red and green). This was so good, I’d go back again!
