- JJJessicaJul 5, 20261.0I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was beyond disappointing. I placed my order online and was given an estimated wait time of 47–57 minutes. I waited a full hour before driving to the 98th Street location to pick it up. When I arrived, I was told they hadn't even started my order and that it would be at least another hour because they were backed up on all orders. If the kitchen was that far behind, the online ordering system should have reflected that instead of accepting orders it couldn't fulfill. Since I was now expected to wait another hour, I politely asked the manager on duty if they could change one of the TVs to the soccer game while I waited. I was immediately told, "Absolutely not," with no willingness to help or show any customer service. At that point, I asked for a refund. The manager on duty was rude, dismissive, and had a very unprofessional attitude throughout the interaction. Instead of apologizing or trying to make the situation right, she simply offered me the store manager's phone number as if to say, "Go ahead and complain." It was obvious she didn't care about the customer experience or whether I contacted anyone. To make matters worse, I wasn't even refunded on the spot. I had to fill out a refund form and was told it would take 3–5 business days to get my money back. It's frustrating that Wingstop expects customers to pay immediately when placing an order, yet can't process an immediate refund when the restaurant fails to provide the service they promised. This wasn't just a long wait—it was poor communication, poor customer service, and complete disregard for the customer's time. I won't be returning to this location, and I hope management takes these complaints seriously because the manager on duty clearly does not.

Customers of Wingstop may have the perfect idea for a new concept, and we may be missing out on an exciting opportunity, but ownership and protection must be considered. Wingstop maintains a policy that does not permit it or its employees to accept any unsolicited ideas from outside sources (fans and other third parties).
Wingstop strives to innovate and create through internal business departments and their employees. With this in mind, if we create a new concept through our internal experts, and a talented customer/fan submits a substantially similar idea, determining who the originator of the wing-tastic idea is would be a challenge. To better protect ourselves as well as all of our fans out there, we must adhere to this strict policy which does not permit the review, consideration, or acceptance of such ideas from outside parties to avoid any confusion of ownership. Therefore, we encourage you not to send us unsolicited ideas.

Wingstop shall have no obligations concerning the submissions, including no obligation to review the submissions, return any materials, or acknowledge receipt of the submissions.
