Fun place if you like golf. They're open very late so you can go after work or in the evening and not worry about how late it is.
The "bays" as they call them are rented by the hour. I think you can get a half an hour add it on if you need it.
We were there with my wife's family and there was a total of 12 of us we rented two bays.
Everyone had a good time smacking the ball out there. Only a couple of us was good most of us including me sucked at it.
A lot of us ordered food and drinks during our time.
The server for our Bays was "Jayde" she was extremely attentive and seemed like she was always in our bay helping us or taking more drink and food orders. She helped the family figure out how to use the touch screen to set up our games and enter our names.
We did not notice at the end when the check was laid on one of the tables. I opened the check folder and saw the total. I was totally shocked. It was $391.
The family started getting up and leaving and a few of us were thinking well who's going to take care of the bill. My wife and I were thinking that it was going to be split, but it was all put on one ticket without any question from the server.
One of the family members pulled out a debit card and put it in the check folder. He put a "0" on the tip line. My wife, who works in player services at a casino and relies on tips to make her minimum wage be a worthy paycheck, was fairly irritated at everyone's dismissal of the necessity of tipping the server.
Servers usually get minimum wage or not much more than that. Places like this usually consider tips as part of their wage. So that's why they don't pay them too much more than minimum wage. They count on the tips.
After the family left without saying anything about it my wife and I decided to talk to the lead server and see if there was a way to tip. Which there was. It's called a voluntary tip. They charge $0.01 and then you can put whatever tip added to that you want to. So 22% of $391 is approximately $80.
We left an $80 tip for our server. After all, after the work of taking care of the family and all of their neediness, I'm sure getting stiffed for the tip would have ruined her night. Fortunately my wife knows better and did not want to have that on her conscience.
@ Management/ Corporate, according to your lead server it is common that the servers get stiffed on the tips. Because the bills usually end up so big and somebody usually gets stuck with the bill that wasn't expecting it. The last thing they want to do is add 22% of a $400 bill. So you should have a mandatory tip at a certain level. For instance a mandatory tip necessary for groups of eight or more. Maybe a mandatory tip for a total bill of $200 or more. The server should also ask in advance "do you want the total bill all on one check or will you all be paying separately"?
A credit card should be mandatory at arrival / check in. That way if there is any question who's going to pay there would be a credit card on file from the beginning. That would be motivation for someone to step up.
@ the Patrons of "Top Golf" , Tip your server. They make not much more than minimum wage. Tips make they're paycheck big enough to pay their bills.

I dont like the dishonesty when it comes to the pricing. We went and played for Sunday Funday. It was supposed to be $20 hour. They forgot to mention after waiting for a tablet that they charge an extra $6 to every person you put in to play on your ticket 🎟 and they charge you for each game you play. Kinda disappointed. I appreciate upfront cost of things, it's not just me im paying for i need to calculate my kids and thier friends how much to bring... I really loved the chicken Ceasars salad wrap 10 out of 10!

Our group arrived 50 minutes early for our scheduled time. Even though there was 13 open bays on the second story alone, they would not allow us to enter until our scheduled time. This was pointless since there were so many available spots when we arrived. Only half of the second story was occupied, but they insisted we had to wait an hour before we could enter.
