This was, without exaggeration, one of the most unacceptable experiences I’ve ever had at any restaurant, and it raises serious concerns about food safety, employee conduct, and basic compliance with health standards.
I placed a mobile order and waited approximately 15 minutes at the drive-thru speaker before anyone even acknowledged us. During that time, the employee working the window was openly rude and dismissive to the car in front of us. When we were finally addressed, I stated I had a mobile order and was abruptly told “pull up” with no confirmation, no order check, and no professionalism.
After pulling up, we waited another 15 minutes. When the food was handed to us, it was barely wrapped, visibly mishandled, and being bagged with bare hands in a rushed and careless manner. On top of that, the employee appeared to be actively vaping inside the restaurant while handling food, which is extremely concerning from a sanitation and food safety standpoint.
When I asked a simple question about whether everything was included, I was met with a dismissive “you can look, right?” instead of any attempt to verify the order.
When we got home, the order was completely incorrect and missing multiple items entirely.
I returned to the location around 1:40 AM, well within posted business hours, and encountered the same employee leaving the building. When I attempted to address the issue, I was told to go find somewhere else to complain and that they were closed. When I pointed out the store hours, the response I received was “I’m leaving, I leave whenever I want. I don’t care about the hours.”
This is not just poor service. This reflects a complete disregard for food safety protocols, basic hygiene standards, customer rights and accurate order fulfillment, and operating hour compliance.
I also attempted to call the store prior to returning and had calls either hung up immediately or left open while employees could be heard laughing in the background.
At this point, this is no longer about a wrong order. It is about a serious breakdown in management oversight, employee accountability, and adherence to standards that are required to safely serve food to the public.
I strongly urge management and corporate to investigate this location immediately. What I experienced should not be happening at any operating restaurant
