We just had an unbelievably bad experience at this Albertsons with Debbie. As we understand it she is a “special needs” employee but that does not excuse her actions. If she can’t at least be polite to paying customers she has no business being in uniform representing Albertsons. My wife is in tears and my children are traumatized. As for my hard earned money, it will be going to the competition where we aren’t belittled, berated and treated like dirt. Zero stars and shame on you.

Albertsons feels slightly more curated to me, especially when I’m looking for specialty items or a better meat counter. I’ve found good local products here—New Mexico salsas, tortillas, and dairy brands that don’t always show up elsewhere. The stores are clean and easy to navigate. When I don’t want to hop between multiple shops, this is a reliable one-stop option that still carries regional staples.

I set a timer on my phone after having pushed the button for detergent. Over 15 minutes went by, multiple staff with name tags made eye contact and walked away. I said excuse me to get help and the guy said someone will be with you shortly. Another 5 minutes go by. Managers walked right by and still nothing. Thank god for Antonio finally at least acknowledging I was even there. What’s the point of managers with fancy iPads all standing in one spot socializing?

This review is for the bakery! We ordered a birthday cake for my 8 year old granddaughter with a Gabby’s Doll House design. The trim was supposed to be pink and the lettering purple. Simple! It was picked up by a family member who unknowingly was unaware of what the cake was supposed to look like. Get home and find the wrong frosting, the lettering and trim were opposite of what was requested and no Gabby's Doll House design at all, just a bland basic cake with the wrong colors. She is 8 years old, how do you blatantly ruin a birthday cake for a child? But the kicker was the store associates attitude. She was rude, talked over my us, refused to listen and had zero concern, zero empathy, and had the audacity to tell us to return the cake, the cake that was for a party within the hour. Ok ya will return it and she won’t have a cake!! How stupid can you be? A simple apology, a simple how can we make it right? Absolutely disgusting!

Over the past few weeks I’ve been disappointed in finding that the Lucerne brand of cottage cheese was moldy when I opened it, the Lucerne milk I purchased in a carton ended up bulging which indicates it’s contained bacteria. Both if these items hadn’t even reached the expiration date yet. In fact they were far from reaching that date. As far as the Lucerne eggs, most of the cartons contain broken eggs so you have to sort through quite a few cartons to find a dozen of eggs that are not cracked or broken. Some cartons are even missing eggs. Not happy as far as shopping for these items Additionally, I went to purchase Lowry’s Garlic spread on June 25, 2026 at the same Albertsons. Every single bottle on the shelf had an expiration date in January and February of 2026. Several of the bottles had loose caps. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to purchase the item.
