The pro's
Very nice place, wait staff was very friendly and very polite. I ordered the ribeye Med Rare with a glass of Perrier. Everything came out in a reasonable time and looked amazing. It came with Yukon gold mashed potatoes and Green beans.
The con's
The Ribeye was about 1/4" thick and was cooked with enough salt to stop a horse's heart.
Not my favorite way to spend $40 but for the atmosphere and how nice the staff were, I'd go back and order anything else

The waitress Jenifer is the greatest waitress of all time, im not even from here or anything but she served us with enthusiasm and perfect pacing. I loved the way she made sure I knew all the options of the menu and kept me feeling well taken care of. The food was second to none, I personally recommend the flat iron steak, idk how they make it so good. I would one hundred percent go back in the future. There is a great atmosphere too for a peaceful experience.

This little diamond in the rough was a pleasant surprise. The food was amazing and every entree was cooked rough perfection. The atmosphere was very pleasant and welcoming. The service wasn't perfect but that could have been because we had a new server. But they were awesome anyway... and could have been because the server was flustered from dropping a couple plates of food. But they made a great recovery. I would absolutely come back here to eat again as I would be willing to guess that the service would only get better. Again... great food, great atmosphere and very friendly staff!!!! Must visit... and then go again!!!

D.H. Lescombes truly stands out as the best dining experience in Alamogordo! Moving from a state rich in restaurants, we were thrilled to celebrate our daughter-in-law's birthday here after her enthusiastic recommendation. Every dish was fantastic, and the upscale ambiance combined with outstanding customer service made it unforgettable. We’re particularly excited to discover that there's a Lescombes in our new city of Las Cruces—we can't wait to become regulars!

We came here for a light snack for three and we were pleasantly surprised at the food quality and service. We ordered some calamari, a steak sandwich, some meatloaf, and a bowl of French onion soup. We got our calamari and the bread first and I have to tell you they were delicious! The calamari was cooked to the perfect consistency and very crunchy and the bread was freshly baked right out of the oven. The French onion soup and the sandwich were also amazing, you could tell that that have mastered their menu. The only thing that we slightly disliked was the meatloaf because it was in such a large portion for a lunch size. I recommend eating here if you want a good lunch option in Alamogordo.
