This store feels like purgatory. It’s got such an eerie energy, I don’t know what it is. Every time I’ve ever been, there’s been like no one there. The staff seem incompetent and they don’t know how to do their job or maybe they weren’t properly trained- I’m not sure. Everything is super expensive here too - I bought three tomato’s for like $12 and they got moldy the next day!! Will never go back

So, I just left Acme’s Cheap Chicken Monday, and I’m honestly disappointed. You would think Acme would be prepared for customers coming in to take advantage of a chicken special they’re actively advertising. I ordered the 3-piece chicken meal with potato wedges and cornbread. The employee told me there weren’t any wedges available—even though I could clearly see about four wedges sitting in the bin. I asked if I could substitute mashed potatoes instead, and she simply said, “NO.” And that was it. She didn’t ask if I wanted to wait 10 minutes for more wedges to be prepared. She didn’t offer another substitution, an extra piece of chicken, or even the four wedges that were already sitting there. She didn’t ask if I wanted to return the items. Nothing. No attempt whatsoever to find a solution. I haven’t been to Acme for chicken in probably 10 years, but I saw the Cheap Chicken Monday ad on Facebook and decided to give it another try. Unfortunately, this experience reminded me why I hadn’t been back—and now they’ve lost a customer again. All over what? A funky scoop of mashed potatoes? 😂 Sometimes a little customer service and common sense go a long way. Side note: The cornbread was DELICIOUS! 😂

The deli is the worst department - every time I go the man and woman working there talk with each other while people are waiting for 20+ minutes ! I I ask if anyone is working at the deli they laugh and continue to face the wall and look at papers. They need training on customer service.
