At first I was upset at the medium side portions, but when I got home, it actually was enough in that bowl for 3 people! My apologies for that!
The food was definitely on point, the ribs very tender, the brisket, had kind of a lot of fat on it, but the flavor was great, tender you could cut with your fork, and the BBQ chicken was also great! Flavor, so tender, but stringy like some!
The overall experience with BIG SWERVE BBQ was 100%! I will be back and I will definitely spread the word!
Sorry, I didn't take any pictures, because we were all ready to dig in, (we came from Delaware)!

Itโs hard to find really good BBQ outside of the South and Midwest but Big Swerveโs does NOT disappoint! So glad we gave them a shot. The pulled pork, chicken, and mac and cheese have been phenomenal both times weโve tried them. But itโs the corn bread that canโt be beat! If youโre looking for quality BBQ in the Camden/Gloucester County area, you wonโt be disappointed.

Waited over an hour in a 95-degree wine festival line for BBQ that ended up being overcooked and disappointing. The biggest issue wasnโt even the foodโit was the complete lack of urgency from the staff. While customers stood baking in the sun, employees were taking videos of the massive line instead of focusing on serving people.
Orders were being taken one at a time with no sense of efficiency whatsoever. When you choose to work a large public event, you need to be prepared for volume and move with purpose. Either improve the operation or hire people who understand how to handle a rush.
Long waits can be forgiven when the food is exceptional. Unfortunately, neither the service nor the BBQ justified the hour-long wait.
I ordered online and showed up when the order was supposed to be ready. I went up to the online order window, and was told the food wasn't ready. 25 minutes later on a hot 90 degree day and no shade, I found out my order was just sitting there getting cold on the counter where they keep their orders that are ready. The kid never even looked for it when he told me it wasn't ready. It was. And it was ready to go. He just never looked. Maybe because I'm white, and they're racist? That's what it felt like. The only other white person there waited a long time too. I wasn't offered anything for my ridiculous wait, or the cold food that was sitting around for a half hour, or the massive screw up.
As far as the food goes, about 2/3 of my rib meat was missing. The macaroni and cheese was very dry. Everything else was just ok.
