The interior of the restaurant is spectacular — gives off a high-end modern dining vibe. The waiters were all dressed professionally, courteous, and attentive. Food was great and the spice levels were catered to our preference. Will visit again in the near future!

We had an excellent birthday dinner here for my husband and I with our family and our 11 month old. The wait staff was so kind and gave our baby some plain cooked chicken on the house and yogurt while we waited for our food. At the end of the meal which was great, the owner came over to introduce himself and the chef did the same which was so sweet. We will definitely return because most importantly every item we ordered was delicious. Looking forward to trying other menu items.

Went with friends yesterday night for dinner, and it was a really good experience. 1st it was BYOB, they had plenty of seating, and host was actually intersted in welcoming you. Menu has typical indian dishes with some variations, but flavors were really well balanced and high quality. Their clay oven dishes (Paneer Tikka, Soya Chaap) was really amazing and for Entree we ordered mushroom-mattar and Dal Makhani that were really flavorful. Must try their dessert (flower pot and Halwa). We will certainly be back.

The Wayne Chamber of Commerce held a special tasting dinner at Paheli, were we were able to have a taste of several dishes. All of them were truly delicious. For starters, we had the Samosas, Gobi Bao Buns, Malai Soya Chops, Laal Mirch Ka Tikka, Tawa Fish Fry and the Pepper Garlic Shrimp. All of it was fantastic, but those pepper galric shrimp were out of this world. For dinner, we tasted Palak Paneer, Laal Maas, Butter Chicken and Dal Paheli with garlic and butter Naan. This was my first time tasting just about all of this and the flavors were incredible. This is not your typical Indian food restaurant, they call it "Modern Indian Cuisine," while I just call it all amazingly delicious! Thank you to the owner, Rahul Blokhra, who was an incredibly knowlegeable host and just a great guy. We, immediately, made reservations for early May to come back and try more!

Recently, we visited their sister restaurant Paheli after trying Praana earlier, where Uma (our server) had recommended this place—it had been on our wish list ever since. It was Bengali and Maithili new year and just like we follow the tradition back in India (means eating outside), we decided to come here with our little family. The restaurant is bigger than Praana and feels more like a fine dining place. The ambience looks nice with an Indian theme. Since it was a weekday, it was not very crowded, which was good. And surprisingly, Uma was our server again—she even recognized us What we ordered: *Lamb Pepper Fry (4.5/5): Usually this dish is served dry in most places, but here it came with a little gravy. immediately I ordered garlic naan with it, and it tasted really good together. Even though I prefer it dry, this was the best dish we had. *Tawa Fish Fry (3.5/5): It was basically fried tilapia. Tasted okay, nothing special. * Chef’s Special Masala Roast (Lamb): Many people seem to like this dish, but for me it was just average. The presentation was nice. It comes with a small portion of masala rice, which was actually tasty—I just wish there was more of it. Overall, the lamb gravy felt quite normal and not something special. While eating, I told Uma that in Praana there was at least one dish that really stood out, but here I didn’t feel that. I would probably go back to Praana again, especially for the Meen Pollichath (Pompano fish), which I really liked. Overall 3.5/5
