Highly recommend. Amazing people and food! They happily and proactively accommodated the saoji vegetarian thali to make it vegan!!
I was fine without dessert - but they offered to make me puran poli which was fantastic and healthy!
The vegan thali came with Bharwa Baingan, patodi, Bhakri, daal, pakora, thecha and puran poli

Highlights:
-BYOB
- Get more apps, less mains
- Try Thaali option
- Avoid North Indian or Indo Chinese dishes. Stick to local Maharashtrian stuff - it’s great!
Made a a quick stop here en route a family road trip! Most Indian restaurants in the U.S. are either North Indian or South Indian with both sometimes serving a mix of either cuisine or an Indo-Chinese version.
It’s amazing to chance upon spots catering to a particular niche cuisine from one region of a very diverse country, without falling for what the West thinks and knows!
We ordered:
1. Misal Pav - we loved it. We’ve had pav bhaji before and this is a more nuanced take on it. With the same pav but a more liquid sauce and crunchier texture. It’s spicy but worth it!
2. The Veg Thaali with Zunka and Bhakri and Sev Bhaji and Dal. I’ve eaten Maharashtrian food before and the Zunka was delicious. Bhakri was too dry and not really enjoyable. I wish I had got the Patodi coz I did not enjoy the Sev. It was too similar to the Misal sauce and not as fun. So felt like a repetition.
Special mention for the yellow Dal. I eat a lot of lentils and this Dal was just fabulous. I would go back just for the Dal!
Solkhadi was refreshing - not wow but not bad. Overall great choice with the thaali coz we got to try variety and it was interesting. Good bang for your buck
3. Chicken Saoji Curry - As promised this was spicy!! We really enjoyed it but wish we had skipped and gotten the non veg thaali to be able to try more things.
4. Gobi Manchurian - not my fav here. Probably not the right place to get it. Stick to the local stuff , it’s awesome.
I’d surely stop again if I ever cross paths with Nagpuri Saoji. Wish they open a branch in the Philadelphia city area :)

the food was absolutely delicious. the flavors were incredible. everything cooked to perfection.
the service staff was also great. on top of everything, made great recommendations, and were overall so nice and friendly.
if you are looking for a good indian spot that is reasonably priced with great food and great staff, definitely give this place a shot. 10/10

If you are craving genuine, highly flavorful Indian street food, Nagpuri Saoji is an absolute must-visit! We ordered quite a feast, and overall, we were completely blown away by the quality and taste.
Misal Pav, Vada Pav & Samosa Tari: The absolute highlight of the meal was their tari. It is incredibly authentic—spicy, robust, and exactly what you want when you order Nagpuri food. It elevated the misal and samosas to the next level. The vada pav was also fantastic and hit the spot perfectly.
Chili Garlic Momos: We decided to try these as well. While they were good and definitely enjoyable, they weren't the star of the show compared to their traditional regional dishes.
Chhas & Sol Kadhi: To wash everything down, we had the buttermilk and sol kadhi. Both were perfectly refreshing and provided the ideal cooling balance to the spicy, rich flavors of the tari.
What really stood out to us is that absolutely everything tasted fresh and was clearly cooked to order. You can tell they put a lot of care into their food. If you want fresh, authentic flavors with a great kick, I highly recommend checking them out!

We tried this restaurant for the first time, and it was an amazing experience. Authentic Maharashtrian food, if any of you are craving true Maharashtrian flavors, this is the place to come. We ordered a variety of dishes, from Puri Aamras to Veg Kolhapuri to the Pomfret Thali, and many more. The curries were incredibly rich and flavorful without being overly spicy.
The staff was very kind, especially Vicky, who explained dishes we hadn’t tried before and suggested what to order (loved the Patodi Rassa and the Paneer Caramel recommendation).
If you enjoy North Indian or Maharashtrian food, definitely give this place a try. They offer all the classic favorites you see at most Indian restaurants, along with many unique options we haven’t seen elsewhere.
