Had lunch there yesterday. Our server Loren was so attentive and accomodating even though they were busy at lunch time. He was exceptional. The bacon wrapped scallops were amazing. The chicken noodle soup is homemade and so flavorful. The petite salmon was a good size portion plus two sides. We also ordered a meat lover pizza that was thin crust and filled with sausage pepperoni and bacon. A wonderful meal and great value. Was sad I didn't have any room left for dessert! Will definitely be back.

I’ve only done take-out, and it’s only been twice. The staff is always very friendly.
The first time the food was amazing! Both times, I got the Shrimp & Crab scampi and my partner got the Pecan Chicken salad. The first time was so good, the garlic bread was crispy, the salad was crisp. My pasta was just right and the pecan chicken salad was fresh.
The second time, this past Monday, April 27th, all the food was different, in a bad way. All the lettuce, for both salads (mine was an app), were very watery, not drained properly, or at all. The lettuce was barely cut up smaller than 2”x2”. The scampi sauce was too thick, and the garlic bread was under crisped. Most of it was not even darkened on the top.
I came back because the first time was so good. Now I’m skeptical about trying it for the 3rd time.
Atmosphere was inviting. Service by the waiter was excellent. Service from the kitchen was terrible. We were a party of 7. Everyone placed their orders, everyone received their order except for one. Everyone ate and still no order for this person. Of course the waiter was very apologetic and offered her soup and salad on the house. Really?
Finally her order came after all received dessert. Needless to say, she didn't feel like eating it then; so she boxed it . She was also charged for it, which I don't think was right. It should have been on the house. There was really no reason for her dish to be delayed that amount of time.

I have been to Green Olive quite a bit over the years and it has always been just okay. I had the pleasure of dining there the last few weeks and have had a wonderful experience each time. I was there a few weeks ago a sat at a high top at the bar and could not believe the great service from the bartender Genevieve along with the wonderful salad recommendation from the manager Brian when he stopped by to see if all was good with our table. I visited again with my nephew this past Monday and again had a fantastic meal sitting at a booth with a very good waitress, although I cannot remember her name. Well, tonight on the way home after watching my other nephew play baseball, my sister and I decided to stop back and have dinner at the bar. Again, Genevieve was very attentive and awesome. She made us a couple of fabulous drinks, we had delicious dinners, my sister the special Branzino and I had the stuffed flounder again (had it Monday) and it was truly delectable! Brian had been very busy all night dealing with customers, but he did not disappoint and did come by to make sure all was great and we were taken care of. On our way out, the hostess made sure all was good as well. We had such a relaxing experience with great food and amazing service. I will definitely be returning!

Ordered online, waited 25 minutes as instructed. When I went to pick up, they tell me they dont have what I ordered. I had to look at the menu and pick something else. I notice in the menu they dont even carry what I was able to order online. I decided on a patty melt on RYE. It cost $2 more than what I originally ordered so I had to go back out to my car to get $2, God forbid they give me a $2 discount for making me wait again. Finally got my food and went home. The patty melt is on sourdough. I hate sourdough. Who makes a patty melt on sourdough? Should be illegal. Anyway. This was our first time trying this place. Absolutely won't be back. Update your menu on your website, and do the right thing for your guests. That $2 may have saved you a customer. I hope it was worth it.
