I’m from the south and I was so excited that a Bojangles was coming near me until I got in the drive thru and I was told they only have chicken tenders and chicken sandwiches?? No bone in chicken ? And also some of the sides they don’t have. This is not original by any means. Idk who
Idea was it for them to not serve bone in chicken but I can assure you that me along with my friends and family won’t be eating at this location.
I know people are disappointed that it's only boneless chicken, but honestly that chicken was so good I don't even care my food was nice and HOT, SEASONING was on point, fries were so good. BBQ sauce was so good!! Best bbq I've had from a fast food restaurant since Wendy's back in the day. Def will be back
Very limited lunch & dinner menu, they do more w breakfast biscuit choices. I tried the grilled chicken combo w coleslaw & lemonade. The chicken was under seasoned, nothing special and very tough & stringy. The coleslaw was also underseasoned, I added pepper. The fries have some sort of coating, but at least they WERE seasoned. I did enjoy the peach honey pepper sauce, but u pay extra for ALL sauces, nothing is included w the meal. Service was good, plenty of staff cooking, taking orders, payments, bringing food to ur table, or takeout. And it didn't take too long from placing order to recvg food. But, since I have 3 other fast food chicken places by me, well before Bojangles, I doubt I will go back to them. And for the price, I could easily get a better "sit down dining" experience for about $5 more w more side options at other area restaurants.
So, I first went here when they first opened. I expected things to be chaotic because of so many customers first day, but I literally was standing there for 40 minutes (within that time, 3 or 4 different employees asked my name and order, then they'd walk away and never come back. While some of them keep looking at me seeing that I'm waiting with my phone that has the receipt) eventually I got it (just a sandwich and Mac and cheese) the sandwich was ok, but I thought I was being too harsh when I judged the experience. So today, I chose to go back and try their tenders and fries this time. Again, extremely slow service (even though there was only me and 2 other cars), once I was able to finally try the food, the fries were inedible, I'm not sure if they were old or overcooked, it's like there was no potato and they were hard. On top of that, they didn't even bother putting icing on my bo Berry bibiscuit. The chicken is alright, just not worth the experience in my opinion.
I took a drive all the way to Vineland to try this spot. I wasn't disappointed with my trip. I had the bacon egg and cheese biscuit, hash browns, Mac and cheese, chicken sandwich and sweet tea. The biscuit was so SOFT. It is as soft as the McDonalds biscuit looks like it should be in the commercials. I'll be returning for one within the next few weeks for another. The great thing is this place serves breakfast all day.
On to the sandwich. I forgot to order the buffalo sauce so I was mad at myself as I ate driving home. My thought was this sandwich is about to be so dry with just this mayo. Boy was I wrong! If this place was around when Popeyes and Chick-fil-A had their chicken war I think we would be talking about another winner.
Sweet tea. I love sweet tea! I have it almost everywhere I go. I have been down south for sweet tea, I know the difference. This sweet tea is perfect. Brewed lightly and sugared perfectly. Not overly done or artificial tasting. Just perfect!
Mac and cheese is about as good as you get at a fast food place. The chunks of baked cheese are perfection without them the pasta would be a little bland.
The hash browns are huge! Perfectly soft with just enough crisp on the outside.
Last thing. Pro tip, when using the kiosk if you want what you just ordered to go through don't push back or it will take it out of your cart. Even if you put it in the cart. If you want to order more just keep going forward.
