While I was checking out she was hovering over me and when I was starting the payment process she RUDELY asked “is everything okay or what??” Like oh ok then proceeded to talk smack about me because I didn’t know how to use the QR code as I was leaving. Idk if this is her manager in red but she participated in the conversation held about me and they huddled by the self checkout machine I was using as pictured right here after I left. I got 3 items and you could hear the beep as I scanned each one this was weird. And yes I took a picture from this far as I was not walking back.

Opened it up to dump it into my recipe and it’s covered in mold on the interior which means somebody didn’t refrigerate it at some point in the logistics chain. At least when I order from Whole Foods I can get a refund when something is spoiled. I’m not going back for six dollars, but I’m certainly not buying cheese there again…

I always inspect before purchasing, and find mold on the shelves at Kings in Verona far more often than other nearby grocers. I purchased a large basket of clementines on Sunday - these are hard to inspect due to the packaging and the fact that they need to be peeled - come to find out they are all moldy inside (it's Tuesday). I won't be going back.
