  The service was very good, our waitress was very pleasant, and the cocktails were good. For an appetizer we shared the Mexican kisses which were good but then we shared two main dishes, neither of which were good nor were they large enough as a dinner. The quesadilla with rock shrimp and cheese was very skimpy it appeared to have 2 small shrimp cut into pieces. Then the Suardero Tacos were very sparse and we never got the avocado, or salsa. Needless to say we were very disappointed.

  First time at Beach Tacos & Tequila and we’ll definitely be back! I had the blackened chicken tacos on corn tortillas, and they were absolutely delicious. The chicken was perfectly seasoned, and the roasted poblano, pico de gallo, pickled red onions and cilantro brought everything together. Those three tacos disappeared pretty damn quick! 🌮🌮🌮 My son and daughter both had the Infladita de Cochinita Pibil, and they both loved it! The atmosphere was great. They had a live acoustic musician playing during dinner, which gave the place a really nice, relaxed vibe. It was a little busy, but that just added some energy to the place. Great food, great atmosphere, and most importantly, a really enjoyable dinner with my kids. We’ll definitely be back! Milo recommended. Johnny approved. 👌🌮

  This place advertises half price starters, however their two most expensive starters: the Tuna Pizza and the Birria pizza are NOT included in the happy hour special and we were not told that until we got the bill and had to ask. It should clearly be stated that these two things are not included so people are not spending money they did not come in looking to spend. We spent 50 dollars on two drinks and an appetizer. I would not come back again as the Birria Pizza was not worth 28 dollars. It had very little short rib and was overly greasy. I don’t not feel that my time and money was respected especially when both are too valuable today.

  How in God's name did anyone leave a 5 star review for this place. It was my first time there and food was mediocre at best. Portion size was pitifully small. The tip off should have been when there was a $7 up charge for rice and beans.....really at a Mexican joint. You got to be kidding me. I ordered a rice bowl and it was terrible. TBH I had better food at Chipotle . I don't want to even get into the 3 other meals that we ordered. NOT good mexican food ....not even close. The only up side to the meal was that my good friend picked up the tab. YOUcould only imagine how much more I would drone on if I laid out $155 for this rip off of a meal. Who ever owns this place should reassess the quality of the product they are trying to pawn off on the paying public. THIS IS NOT A GOOD PLACE TO EAT.

  I want to start by saying my server Andres was absolutely fantastic!! always checked back on me and was very friendly. I went around 3-4pm for happy hour apps and margs. the queso appetizer is apparently not included in the half off apps deal. the $5 margarita was good, exactly what I crave- a cold, citrusy marg. salsa was average, and the chips weren’t the fresh/homemade type, which is fine for some people. the queso, however, was the worst I’ve ever had. I understand queso is just .. “cheese”.. but in my experience, it’s a smooth, creamy dip. this one seemed to be a concoction of melted shredded and possibly sliced cheeses? it wasn’t flavorful, and as it cooled, it started to congeal (see pics) and by the end it was one big lump. really disappointed by that as I was craving a traditional queso. I wanted to love it, I may just have to give this place another shot and try something else.
