The supervisor cashier was nasty. There was an error in the machine, the discount price wasn't registering, cashier employee called supervisor to help. Supervisor came with an attitude, after she adjusted the price, the total seems off. Just looking at the 3 items (detergent $8.99) plus coffee $5.99 and few more items doesn't add up to $56 Then, I said I think your register didn't add it accurate ly Supervisor handed me the registry that she throw away in the waste basket and she said...in a nasty voice "Here look at it" Because of their attitude I decided not to buy the items anymore. They should have checked if cashier register really did it accurately. Sometimes those registry machine mal function. I was very polite and professional talking to them and the look they gave me was so mean. Let me mention who am I a senior who an asian immigrant. This is the stop.& shop in Tenafly

Smaller market compared to others nearby, so it gets crowded quickly. But the customer service is excellent…super helpful and kind! Plus store is always clean and organized.

Nice reasonably sized store that's easy to navigate. It's not too crowded. The staff is very nice and helpful. Checking out is usually very quick and easy either cashier or self checkout kiosk.
