  The store bakery lady is not friendly at all. She is very controlling. I'm really surprised how she has this job. Not helpful. I ask for the sandwich rolls which are cooked in the morning and was cooling down from the oven in their rack. I asked if she can give me two and she refused and said I have to wait ten minutes then walked away from the bakery to chat with another worker. I asked another assistant and she gave the rolls to me without any issues and the rolls were cool not hot..

  Possibly user error. But I downloaded the app it would not let me apply. Plus the items I was looking for was no longer in the store.

  My husband bought a bunch of sodas from this place because we had an event, but we ended up not using them, so I asked him to return them. However, when we went to return them, the store was open but their customer service closes early at 7pm (even when the store closes at 10pm). This was especially annoying because after a long day's event, we had to lug all the soda back to our car, and back another day. When he had finally gone back to return, they were suspicious of the amount of sodas that he was trying to return. Why else would we be returning a bunch of sodas? Do you think we added rocks to empty cans? Why don't you extend your customer service hours until the store closes or have the cashiers accept returns, so that we don't have to lug merchandise back and forth. Also, be minimal with the judgment please, it's totally normal to return a bunch of sodas after a party. We don't plan to shop at Stop & Shops again just because we find the return policy highly inconvenient. We're not sure if this is for all stores, but it's definitely for this location. Target FTW.

  They have a lobster holocaust in the back. I cant take looking at those sad lobsters crammed in a cage like that, and half are dead or dieing in front of your eyes. It's very sad. I only gave an extra star because the rest of the store is good.
