  I placed a mobile order but selected the wrong sauce for a large fry. At the speaker, I asked to swap it. The employee refused, claiming there was an upcharge. I explained no upcharge existed on the mobile app and confirmed this in real time by re-entering the order. She ignored me completely and never responded. I waited approximately 5 minutes before pulling up to the window. At the window, she repeated herself. I showed her the Taco Bell app directly, walking her through the charges as she demanded. When I asked for a manager, she claimed to be the manager. After significant back and forth, she finally made the change. When I asked for her name, she closed the window in my face. A Hispanic female employee then came to the window and attempted to open it to speak with me. The woman grabbed her hand and physically stopped her from doing so. The employee was an African American woman (since she didn’t want to provide her name). This occurred at 4807 Stelton Rd, South Plainfield, NJ 07080 on April 30, 2026 at approximately 2:40-2:50PM EST. Oh yea & here’s the screenshot directly from the Taco Bell app. All this for a simple sauce swap request.

  My daughter got 2 cheesy rice and bean burritos and got terribly sick the next morning! If I could prove it I would sue them for food poisoning!

  such a waste of money i spent $10 weird chemical taste in the beans threw out the burrito in trash

  I wanted to try this new item and once I got home and took a look there was a long strand of hair the lady had the nerve to say it wasn’t her people I have dreads so definitely not mine they need to start wearing hair nets under the hat and take accountability that it was a workers long piece of hair every person I seen working had long hair nice try lady
