    Ordered food through the app for my lunch break, I get to the store they tell my order is canceled because I used a coupon. (The coupon still works and is active but they said they made a mistake so I can’t get the food) I wasted my whole lunch break on this very angry never coming back, Also asked to speak with manager or anyone higher up wouldn’t even have the decency to speak with me.     I went to try the new Wingstop in South Orange, NJ and had a really disappointing experience. I ordered a chicken sandwich meal and picked it up to take to work. When I opened the bag, the chicken was just sitting in the container with no bread for the sandwich, and the fries were ice cold. I called the store to let them know what happened, and instead of getting help, I was met with attitude and disrespect. The employee told me I had to bring the food back so they could see it. Honestly, why would I lie about not having bread on a sandwich? I explained that I wouldn’t be back in the area until Monday, and they told me that was fine and that they would remake the order then. When I called back on Monday, I was met with even more rude staff. No one would give their name, and they told me since I didn’t bring the food back on Friday, they wouldn’t refund me or remake the order. They even put me on hold and never came back to the phone. When I called again, as soon as they saw my number on the caller ID, they would answer, say “hold on,” and then never return to the call. After looking at the other reviews, it seems like this location has a pattern of bad service. I would not recommend this Wingstop to anyone. The entire staff needs retraining, and with so many negative reviews, it really makes you question management and hiring decisions. This is not how you treat paying customers. I honestly wish I could give zero stars. Follow up: I filed a complaint with corporate after a bad experience at Wingstop in South Orange, NJ. Shortly after, I received a call from the manager, Cherise Roberts-Reid. During the call she told me she reviewed the store’s footage and claimed the sandwich had buns on it when it was packed. That is simply not true. If the footage really shows that, then it should be released, because at this point you are basically calling me a liar. I’m not concerned about the $5 refund that was offered. This is about principle and accountability, not money. Customers should not be treated with disrespect or made to feel like they are being dismissed when they raise a legitimate concern. What made the situation worse was being told that it doesn’t matter who I complain to because it will “come right back” to the same manager and nothing will be done. That kind of attitude toward customer complaints is unacceptable. I will be filing complaints with corporate, the Better Business Bureau, and the City of South Orange regarding this situation. Businesses that serve the community should treat their customers with honesty and respect.

    My friend and I walked in to order, there were multiple workers that walked up to the front, didn’t acknowledge us, or take our order. We waited for about 4-5 minutes just standing at the counter and once the workers started chatting in the back while we were still waiting we walked out because that’s not acceptable behavior.
