  Very well stuck and clean store. They need to offer a larger variety of cuts of meets specially fresh beef

  I bought a whole raw chicken that was rotten. The second I opened the package, the smell was overwhelming. Rotten. Rotten meat should never be on the sales floor!!! I also bought a dozen clams from the seafood counter. The person at the seafood counter seemed bothered that I even wanted something. Poor attitude. Didn’t greet me and say hello, just stared at me until I asked for what I wanted. One of the clams she sold me was already dead. Just disgusting. The employee wrapped the live clams in plastic instead of packaging them properly. That shows a lack of basic seafood handling knowledge and training, as live shellfish need to breathe and should never be double wrapped in plastic. Any experienced seafood handler would know this. This isn’t just about one bad purchase. It’s about poor quality control, expired and spoiled food being sold, and staff who don’t appear to be properly trained to handle perishable products. Food safety should be the bare minimum. After this experience, I won’t be shopping here again. Ever!!!! I will gladly take my money to Stew Leonard’s where they service you with a smile & the food is always fresh. I suggest you do the same!!!
