DO NOT COME HERE WITH YOUNG KIDS.
The food itself was good (ended up getting takeout).
However, this place is completely mismanaged. We joined the waitlist and got a message saying they would hold our table for 15 minutes. We arrived 11 minutes later, only to be told they actually only hold tables for 10 minutes (and not 15). So apparently we were “too late” by ONE minute. Then they casually told us the new wait would be another hour.
What kind of system is this? Why not just take reservations instead of making families stand around endlessly waiting and re-waiting? Going out with kids already takes planning, timing, and effort. This whole experience felt chaotic, frustrating, and honestly disrespectful of people’s time.
There seems to be some strange flex in keeping people waiting outside instead of running an organized system. Really disappointing experience.

I would stay away from Pink Pistachio. Our experience was disappointing from start to finish.
First, the wait system made no sense. There were multiple empty tables, yet we were told there was a 2-hour wait because of people on the waitlist. The tables weren’t even reserved. They also don’t provide time slots and expect people to show up within 15 minutes without guaranteeing a table is actually available. It felt extremely unorganized and frustrating.
Second, our takeout order took over an hour to be ready. Waiting that long for takeout is unacceptable, especially when the restaurant was already making customers wait excessively.
Third, the food was not worth the price at all. Most dishes were close to $20, but the portions and quality didn’t match the cost. The baked ziti in particular was disappointing — tiny portion, overloaded with cheese, bland, and tasted stale.
Lastly, after already paying high prices, we were informed that the restaurant’s additional 12% charge for large parties does NOT go toward the server’s tip. That was surprising and misleading. If the restaurant is adding a large party charge, customers naturally assume part of it supports the staff.
Overall, overpriced food, poor service, confusing management, and long unnecessary waits. Definitely not worth the hype.

I found this cafe online, and was excited to take my mother for Mother’s Day! I called the day before on the afternoon to inquire about reservations for Sunday. They were rude on the phone and told me that do not do reservations, but then told me to check the waitlist at 9am the next morning and put my name down. At 8:57 I was already on the website. At 9am, the waitlist was not even open. Then, I decided to call to ask. They said there was no wait (I told her I was 15 min away) and to show up essentially. On the way there, I continued to check the waitlist and it was never opened. When I arrived, they were very rude and quite judgy and told me there would be a 3 hour wait time. I don’t quite know how they have enough people for a 3 hour wait line, WITHOUT A WAITLIST! Mind you, the lady on the phone never told me I could put myself on the waitlist via phone call. Nice atmosphere and food, but unorganized service on such a special day.
Heard and read a lot about this halal place, so finally decided to try it out for dinner.
First off, the ambience and decor is exactly what you would think after hearing the name - well-designed with light and soft colors which give the whole place an open vibe in a light setting. They have ample seating space both inside and outside.
Now the food - we ordered a Buttermilk Fried Chicken Sandwich and a Ribeye Steak with Mint Mojito.
Sandwich was flavorful and the bread was soft and fresh - 8/10.
Ribeyes Steak had a good flavor, however, I found the seasoning to be too salty. Ordered it medium rare, however, it leaned more towards rare. Also, they don’t serve it sizzling, that’s why it got cold too quickly. Both the sandwich and steak were served with a side of fries which were freshly made and tasted good. Steak felt overpriced for what you get. 7/10
The mojito could’ve have had more flavor. 6/10
For dessert, we ordered a chocolate gelato, a banana pudding, and a chai. Gelato was much better than the pudding which tasted like it was store bought. Gelato 9/10 and pudding 5/10. Chai was decent - 8/10.
Overall, the experience was good and I would definitely give this place a second chance and try something else on their menu.
P.S. They kind of forgot about the pudding and chai, that’s why after serving the gelato which took a few minutes, the chai and pudding was served about 20-25 minutes later upon asking. The place was not overly busy at the time we dined in, hence the delay was disappointing.

I finally went to the Pink Pistachio a few weeks ago with some friends from work on our lunch to celebrate one of our co-workers as a little work baby shower. The atmosphere couldn't have been more perfect for it! Really delicious coffee and lunch, comfortable, and great service! Additionally, I discovered a week later that I had lost my receipt for the lunch (I needed it for my expenses) - I went back to ask if I could get a copy, and the manager on duty, Zenna (possibly incorrect spelling, sorry!), helped me. I'm not sure they had anyone ask for a copy of an old receipt before so it took a while to figure out how to get it out of their system and I felt bad, but she was very sweet, patient and kind, and took her time to make sure I had exactly what I needed. I really appreciated that! I will be back soon!
