We’ve been visiting Mauli for its authentic Maharashtrian cuisine, and when we first started going, the food was genuinely very good. The flavors were authentic, the quality was consistent, and the portions were satisfying. It quickly became one of our preferred places for Maharashtrian food.
Unfortunately, on our recent visits, the food has not been the same. It feels like there may have been a change in the kitchen or chef, because the taste and overall quality seem noticeably different from what we experienced initially. The portion sizes also appear to have decreased, which is disappointing given the overall experience we had in the past.
That said, the staff and service deserve appreciation. The same staff members have continued to be warm, courteous, and welcoming, and the way they treat customers has remained consistently good.
I really hope Mauli can bring back the food quality and portions that made us enjoy coming here in the first place. The restaurant has a lot of potential, and with the right consistency in the kitchen, it could once again be one of the best places for Maharashtrian cuisine.

Really enjoyed our visit to Mauli Maharashtrian Restaurant. We were two people and ordered Sabudana Vada, Bombil Fry, Fish Thali, and Kombdi Vada. Everything was really tasty and fresh.
What we liked most was that the food wasn’t overly oily or too masaledar. The spices and masala were just right, and every dish had a nice, authentic Maharashtrian flavor. The Fish Thali and Bombil Fry were especially good!
The ambience was also very nice and made the whole experience even better. Overall, great food, good portions, and a lovely place to enjoy authentic Maharashtrian cuisine. Would definitely visit again!

Absolutely loved the food at Mauli! The Maharashtrian Veg Thali was delicious, flavorful, and felt just like a homemade meal back in Maharashtra. The bhakari was fresh and perfectly made, and all the sides in the thali were full of authentic flavors.
The Misal Pav was another highlight — spicy, flavorful, and very satisfying. It really brought back memories of enjoying a good misal in Maharashtra! ❤️
If you’re craving authentic Maharashtrian food in New Jersey, Mauli is definitely worth a visit. Great food, nice atmosphere, and a wonderful taste of home. Highly recommended! 🙌🇮🇳

We had an amazing dining experience at Mauli Restaurant in New Jersey, and a big part of that was because of Swapnil. From the moment we were seated, he was welcoming, attentive, and incredibly professional. He took the time to explain the menu, offered great recommendations, and made sure everything was perfect throughout our meal.
His friendly attitude, prompt service, and genuine hospitality made us feel truly valued as guests. The food was fantastic, but Swapnil’s exceptional service made the experience even more memorable. It’s rare to come across someone who is so passionate about providing outstanding customer service.

If you are craving authentic Maharashtrian food in New Jersey , this is THE place
I tried the Thali - perfectly made soft Bhakri, spicy Thecha and Sol Kadhi. Every dish tasted just like home-cooked food from Maharashtra. The flavors were absolutely authentic, not toned down at all.
Special shoutout to Swapnil for excellent service. He was so warm, attentive, and explained the dishes to us with so much passion. He checked on us multiple times and made sure we had a great experience. You can tell he genuinely cares about his guests.
Great food + great hospitality = a perfect meal. Highly recommended! Will definitely be coming back.
