Small issue at the drive through with not having exact change. They did not disclose the issue while going through the drive through until after I made payment. Manager Adam handled the situation quickly and made all parties happy. He probably deserves a raise.

At 11:39 P.M., (Late I know, but it was a Friday night and other people were already in line) we first placed the order on the app and arrived at the drive through window. The speaker was hard to hear but we told the operator that we had a mobile order and were trying to explain other details. We had a friend in the car who also had to order and while explaining, the operator cut off his microphone, indicating we lost contact. Pulled through to the first window, to which the same man did not open it to speak to us, rather ignored us completely. In the first interaction, he was ambiguous, and did not tell us which window to proceed to, thus we assumed we had to go to the second to get our food. Because a lack of communication, we assumed we could pull out of the drive through and proceed to the entrance again to place my friends order. When we again tried to explain the situation, the operator abnormally cut us off again and stopped responding. In this interaction, he ended it with the directions to pull up to the first window. My friend was able to check out successfully. We pulled up to the second window and she was handed the incorrect food. She alerted the employee and they took it away and gave her the correct bag. Now that she had got her food, we tried to sort out the situation on our behalf. The employee told us it was not there, although, we had a receipt. Then, the man from the microphone and first window comes in, very aggressively saying he told us “He could not take multiple orders.”I work in fast food, I would not have intentionally pushed this guys buttons for my needs first. The speaker was buggy and hard to hear, if he really said that. Needless to say, we pulled back around for a third time for the operator to say he does not have our food. We pulled up to the new window and he is frantically telling us we have no order yet I have the receipts. This is after a lot of back and forth of him dodging around what the real problem is. Since this is our third time in the drive through, beating around the bush was extremely frustrating. The man asked for my bank statement to which it said pending. To this, he told us that it will be refunded any minute now, as the Mcdonalds had closed at Midnight. I should note there was one more car behind ours. I have not been refunded on 4/26. Rather the money has been taken and registered as a “Withdrawal, Mcdonald’s.” This entire fiasco could have been avoided and reasonably solved if either of these employees tried communicating, as anyone in customer service should do. I am not completely upset about my money, instead, of how I was treated like a social pariah just for wanting my food. The entire experience was unprofessional.

I had one of the most upsetting and unprofessional experiences I’ve ever encountered at this McDonald’s today at 1:50 pm. I was in the car with my two young nieces and my nephew when I placed an order at the drive-thru. Everything appeared correct on the screen when I ordered. However, when I got to the window, items I had ordered were missing, and something I never ordered was added. I calmly and politely explained the issue, expecting a simple correction. Instead, I was told I needed to go back around and reorder—despite being in a rush with small children in the car. I asked them to simply remove the incorrect item and provide the missing kids’ meal I had already ordered. At that point, another employee came over, threw the receipt into my car, and loudly said, “I took your order, I know what you ordered,” in a very aggressive and disrespectful tone. When I tried to explain again, she slammed the window shut and began yelling behind it. This behavior was shocking and completely inappropriate—especially in front of children. Another employee told me to pull forward and that a manager would come speak with me. I did as instructed, but no one came. I then called the store, hoping to resolve things calmly. The manager who answered was dismissive, rude, and unhelpful, insisting I had to go back around, reorder, and repay for food I had already ordered correctly the first time. When I asked to speak to the general manager, the situation escalated even further. He began yelling over the phone, repeatedly saying, “I don’t give out free food at my restaurant,” which was not even what I was asking for—I simply wanted the order I originally placed. When I asked for his name, he refused to provide it and hung up on me. I have never experienced anything like this. The level of disrespect, lack of accountability, and complete absence of basic customer service was appalling. What made it even worse was that my young nieces and nephew had to witness and hear this entire interaction. This was not just a mistake with an order—mistakes happen. This was a complete failure in professionalism, communication, and basic human decency. The refusal of a general manager to identify himself and handle a situation appropriately is unacceptable. I left feeling frustrated, disrespected, and honestly sad that such behavior is tolerated—especially in a place that serves families and children.
