  Hangry Joe's is awesome, I'm used to going to them in Northern Virginia when I'm traveling, so I'm glad to see one pop up here in South Jersey. The food is very tasty and made fresh and hot to order, so any wait times are certainly well worth it. The chicken portions are very generous and very much worth the price, trust me you won't leave here hungry, it's likely you will be taking food home if you order tender or nugget combos. I would especially recommend trying their awesome variety of sauces. The service was friendly and polite. Overall, I would highly recommend!

  I had a wonderful experience at Hungry Joe's in Sewell! The food was fresh, flavorful, and prepared perfectly. What really stood out was the exceptional customer service as everyone was welcoming, friendly, and made me feel genuinely valued. It's clear that they take pride in both the quality of their food and the experience they provide. I'll definitely be coming back and would highly recommend Hungry Joe's to anyone looking for a delicious meal and outstanding service. Thank you for making my visit so enjoyable!

  7/17/26 we Stopped by to give this new place a try. The staff was friendly, and I appreciate that the owner confirmed the food is HALAL, which is a big plus for the local community. That said, there are definitely a few areas that could be improved. The food took longer than expected to come out, the sandwich had a bit too much lettuce, and the fries weren’t very enjoyable. The chicken itself was decent, but overall the meal could use some fine-tuning. There was also quite a bit of smoke inside the restaurant due to what appeared to be a malfunctioning kitchen hood, which made the dining experience a little uncomfortable. Since they’re new, I’m willing to give them another chance and hope these issues get sorted out. Wishing the entire team the very best of luck, I hope they continue to improve and become a great spot for the community.

  I don't usually write reviews, but Hangry Joe's Hot Chicken and Wings in Sewell absolutely deserves one. This was hands down the best hot chicken and wings I've ever had. The chicken was perfectly crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and the flavor was incredible. The heat wasn't just spicy for the sake of being spicy—it was packed with real flavor, which made every bite even better. You can tell they care about the quality of their food. What really made the experience stand out was the customer service. Everyone was friendly, welcoming, and genuinely appreciated their customers. It's not often you find a place that delivers both amazing food and outstanding service, but Angry Joe's does exactly that. This place has definitely earned a loyal customer. If you're anywhere near Sewell and love hot chicken or wings, do yourself a favor and give Angry Joe's a try. You won't be disappointed!

  food was absolutely horrible. so expensive for just a sandwich and fries and to top it off the food poisoning that came with it. would not recommend. food also took extremely long to come out waited at least 30 minutes for food
