  I've tried to get past the lackluster burritos here, because in a pinch, sometimes a quick to-go burrito does the job. But each time I go, I'm repeatedly disappointed. First, the burritos are incredibly overpacked with rice - you're essentially paying for a wrapped heap of rice. Secondly, there is very little addition of anything else in the burrito - I order a shrimp burrito each time, and while yes, there are shrimp included (I do wish they were chopped up and distributed evenly throughout, rather than packed into one spot), there is very little of anything else flavorful. The black beans are sprinkled in - I always wish there were more. The taste is fine, but really underwhelming honestly. The only seasoning I taste is salt and it's often too salty. And because of the overwhelming quantity of rice, the salsa, sour cream, and other elements are overpowered. It's a very unbalanced burrito each time. I find myself having to compensate at home with extra salsa and sour cream in the fridge. I won't be buying any more burritos after today unfortunately.

  I don’t know if they were just having an off night. But the steak quesadilla and chicken quesadillas ordered were bone dry, almost as if the meat was sitting out all day. Reminded me of beef jerky, not good. The tomatoes didn’t look fresh, the guacamole seems like it came out of a tube. Totally disappointed

  This place is amazing. The tacos are good and the meat is incredible. Good ambiance and a chill vibe. Really liked sitting and eating some tacos here. The real star is the extra spicy sauce though. I ended up drinking the end. Okay...I actually used it like salsa for the rest of my chips but still!! Don't be fooled by the name there's pretty low heat but the flavor is amazing! It's creamy and savory with a beautiful florality on the end. I would by this by the jug. Also...when I came back to the counter to ask for it the woman working had a big prideful smile which I found charming. This stuff could have come out of a plastic jug from Aldi's for all I know but I'd like to think it's a delicious family recipe they're very proud of. Anyway, go here and thank me later.

  We order once or twice a month and food is always amazing. We live 10 minutes away and it's always ready by the time we get there to pick it up. Shrimp quesadillas are awesome.

  Had an excellent experience at Sombrero Tacoria in Ridgewood! The tacos were fresh, flavorful, and packed with perfectly seasoned ingredients. The tortillas were warm and soft, and every bite had a great balance of taste and texture. The menu had plenty of creative options, and everything came out quickly and nicely prepared. The staff were friendly, upbeat, and efficient, which made the visit even better. The atmosphere was lively and casual perfect for a relaxed meal with friends or family. Definitely a 5-star spot I’d happily return to!
