  Alexandra is a wonderful server! We ate outside last night and Alexandra gave us great appetizer recommendations (lobster dumplings. yum!) and was on available for any questions. The crab cakes were delicious. We had a great night and look forward to coming back to try more menu items.

  Char in Red Bank was an absolutely amazing experience! And our server Nicole was FANTASTIC!! I went here for a birthday dinner celebration and our meal was fantastic! We got the Porterhouse for Two and the Asiago Truffle Fries and Grilled Asparagus. We also got the Burrata appetizer, Bananas Foster Bread Pudding for dessert and I had a delicious Cucumber gin cocktail! Nicole was so bubbly and incredibly attentive the entire time during our meal, was very sweet, and offered recommendations throughout our time here. Thank you Nicole and Char for a wonderful birthday night!

  Had such an amazing experience at Char Steakhouse tonight. From the moment we sat down, Brian completely elevated the entire evening. He was attentive without ever being overbearing, genuinely funny, incredibly personable, and honestly made our night. The level of service he gave us stood out so much because it felt effortless and sincere the entire time. The food was absolutely incredible. The steaks were cooked perfectly and honestly some of the best we’ve had in a long time. The garlic broccoli was exquisite, full of flavor, and somehow managed to stand out even among everything else we ordered. My partner got the surf and turf and the lobster was AMAZING — perfectly cooked, buttery, and so good that I already know I’ll be ordering that next time. We even started with the seasoned fries and the mac and cheese as appetizers, and Brian was absolutely right… the mac and cheese really was the BEST appetizer. So rich, flavorful, and ridiculously delicious. Every single thing we ordered hit. By the end of the night we were completely full and still had to take food home because the portions were so generous. Between the incredible food, beautiful atmosphere, and Brian making the experience so enjoyable from start to finish, it turned into one of those dinners we’ll genuinely remember. Can’t wait to come back.

  Brian, our waiter was excellent. We went there for my birthday and we were not disappointed. The food was excellent, especially the chicharrones. Cooked to perfection with just the right amount of seasoning. My wife and I both had the surf and turf and the meat cut like butter. Tasty, and a perfect grill. Our wine was delicious and they gave me a complimentary desert. The manager also gave us a discount offer if we returned in a month, which we will. Be prepared to spend some money there as it's not inexpensive but I don't have a problem paying for great food, nice atmosphere, and great service.

  We had such a wonderful dining experience at Char in Red Bank. From start to finish, everything was exceptional. The oysters were incredibly fresh and flavorful, and the steak was cooked to perfection—tender, well-seasoned, and truly top quality. Brian, our server did a wonderful job informing us of the menu variations and specials. The atmosphere struck the perfect balance between upscale and welcoming, making it an ideal spot for a family dinner that still felt special. What really made the night stand out was the service. Brian was absolutely outstanding—attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely warm. He elevated the entire experience and made us feel truly taken care of. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a memorable meal with top-notch food, service, and ambiance. We’ll definitely be back!
