- WPWalt PanekMar 22, 20261.0Last week Dairy Queen had it's Free Cone Day. From International Dairy Queen, Inc., "Every day is a treat day if you choose—but Free Cone Day is an extra special one. Once a year, we treat all our DQ® Fans to a free small vanilla cone so they can enjoy the simple pleasure of soft-serve at no cost and no strings attached." I really like that last couple words on this statement, "no cost and no strings attached". Randolph's DQ did not allow any free cone on that day. I go to DQ for Blizzards almost every month, and more when it's summer time. The Free Cone Day would be nice to start spring and summer. And I'd usually spend a nice tip for that free cone. But it's done. I'll go to Dover Dairy for soft ice cream, and Cliffs for hard ice cream. Bye-bye DQ.
