  As someone who follows a gluten-free diet, I haven’t had a breakfast sandwich in over a decade because most places don’t offer gluten-free bread. However, I recently learned from a fellow gluten-free friend that Cedar & Salt offers gluten-free bread and wraps, so I had to check it out. I got a bacon, egg, and cheese on gluten-free bread (they had white, whole grain) and it was delicious! It’s incredibly rare for a place to offer gluten-free bread options, so I can’t express enough how grateful I am that you’ve considered gluten-free eaters and provided an option. The staff is always so friendly and service is quick which is so appreciated on busy mornings. They also offered a wide variety of sandwiches (all could be made GF), ice cream and what looked like delicious bakery items. I highly encourage everyone to try C&S for all of their delicious offerings & to support an incredibly kind family of owners. Suggestion to C&S: promote your gluten-free offerings more (both online and on window/in store)! Had I not heard about this from a friend, I would’ve assumed there was nothing for me to eat and wouldn’t have even come in. People on a gluten-free diet are always looking for places that wave that “gluten-free options” flag & when we find an accommodating place we become loyal customers! ☺️ So happy to have you in Randolph!!

  New Small business in Randolph that is in the former spot of the Angry Egg. Super friendly staff that provides both indoor and outdoor seating to enjoy your food. Since they have an emphasis on breakfast, I went with the nj favorite Taylor ham, egg and cheese. The roll was spot on and the egg was cooked to perfection. They took the loss on the Talyor Ham, which was almost non existent on the sandwich. At best 2 very small slices. The NJ average is 3. Sandwich has potential. Again comparing this against the best in the state. They have so many other options that I will try in the near future. This is a welcomed addition to the area. Go support this small business.

  New restaurant. Big shoes to fill after Angry Egg left. I will change this rating in time, but I’ve been here twice in three weeks. Each time the round rolls were stale and sandwiches couldn’t be eaten. Don’t know how that gets overlooked once, let alone twice…looking forward to going back though. The area needs this place to be good, and their food truck certainly seems to be popular so I have high hopes.

  Stopped in for ice cream right before closing, and David couldn’t have been friendlier. We’ve also had their breakfast sandwiches several times, and they always hit the spot. Great food, great service, and a welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommend stopping by.
