It had been awhile since we were last at Stewart’s. No reason other than just not around the area to stop in. It was delicious then and just as good now. We had cheeseburgers, chili cheese fries, corn nuggets, and of course root beer. The service was fast, food was cooked perfectly and the staff was friendly and welcoming. It will not be long before we are back.

Burgers, fries, and more Enter from 1 of many Doors - or go bell hop. Kind efficiency, Cool staff, 50s nostalgic. Super fast service. REAL soda fountain And prices with mass appeal. Fantastic ice cream. Parking is plenty but Coming and going can be Tricky.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Now THIS is how you do an old-school Jersey drive-in! Stewart’s Drive-In in Rahway was absolutely packed when I stopped in, but you never would’ve known it from the service. The two carhop girls, I apologize for not asking their names, gave me the royal treatment. They were friendly, attentive, checking on everything, were simultaneously cleaning up, filling dispensers and somehow made me feel like I was the only person there, meanwhile, the place was hopping! Then came the food. The Double California Cheeseburgers were cooked to perfection, hot, juicy, cheesy, messy in all the right ways, and exactly what a Jersey drive -in burger is supposed to be. No fancy presentation needed. Just give me a stack of napkins and stay out of my way. 😂 And those onion rings?! Forget about it! Honestly, they may have been the best onion rings I've ever had. Crispy, golden, perfectly cooked, not swimming in grease, and dangerous because once you start eating them, apparently stopping is no longer an option. What impressed me most was the service. Anybody can make you feel important when there are three customers around. These girls were working an absolutely packed drive-in and still treated me like I had reserved the whole joint. Great burgers, unbelievable onion rings, fantastic service, and that classic Jersey drive-in atmosphere. Stewart’s, you definitely earned the five stars. I'll be back and I'm ordering those onion rings again!

One of our favorites. Service girls are always nice. No long waits. Sit in your car relax and enjoy a good old fashioned root beer float. Sweet corn nuggets are good.
