  I would not recommend this place. We are not from the area. We are also college students. While me and my 1 friend were sitting at the table we were waiting for our other 2 friends. Our server came up to us asked if we were waiting for more and we said yes they were in the bathroom, she said she would be right back. She came back about 10 minutes later with another person after they’ve been back. Also while waiting I guess a manager came up to us because my friend was wearing a bathing suit top but she was covering with a towel because we just got done at the beach and wanted to eat and said she couldn’t wear that inside. Which I get is a problem but she was trying to cover up with a towel because she didn’t have a shirt. The server didn’t introduce us her name or the person she was training. We ordered drinks (just sodas and water) they took a while, when we seen them standing there just talking. We ordered food, it took a while for it not even being busy. While waiting, another table got sat right behind us with older people than us, the same server we had, introduced herself and her trainee, was super friendly and making conversations with them which we thought was odd. We only got checked on about once when food came out. We were done for about 20 minutes before a different server asked if we were okay and we could finally ask for the check. When the check came our bill was wrong with an extra drink. It took us about 15 minutes to see our server to tell her. I was trying to ask if they took apple pay and if we paid at the front because again we’ve never been before but when we said “excuse me” about twice to someone who worked there they just ran past us. To pay it took almost 30 minutes for her to take my card. The only way I found my servers name was on my bill. We also needed change to give our server a tip, the hostess didn’t know how to count $20 in 5s and 1s. I’ve worked in a restaurant business for a couple years and know how things go and this wasn’t right. It wasn’t busy enough for the waiter to not try to introduce herself or be friendly. I don’t know if this is because we are younger and there are stereotypes of people with younger people not tipping. But being a waitress like that is what makes us fit this stereotype.

  I went to this place for a graduation Dinner with Family I was a lil early so me and 3 other people that was early to had ordered our food and I only got My drink 🥤 while everyone sitting with me, got their drink, and their food was brought out not too long after I had ordered a chili and never received it. I wasn’t even checked on or asked how are things I was sitting on one side of the table by myself where three other people were sitting across from me. The waiter kept coming to my side to pick up the three people plates while I’m sitting there with no food then I brought it to the waiter attention and she just said oh it’s not on the Bill so i can have them make it What No I’m good thank for no service everyone’s fine eating and I’m sitting there hungry terrible service I will never go here again

  Absolutely pathetic experience at Brick Tap Tavern last night for the UFC fights. We came in with a party of 7, the bar still had plenty of people there, and staff started warning us we’d have to leave BEFORE our food even came out because of “low consensus.” So you’re telling me a sports bar advertises UFC fights, takes people’s money for food and drinks, then decides halfway through the event that it’s not worth staying open? Complete joke. After we finally got our food, they turned the lights on and muted the TVs while everyone was still eating and actively watching the fights. Nothing says “we don’t care about our customers” more than rushing people out the door after taking their money. If you’re going to host UFC events, maybe actually commit to staying open for them instead of treating paying customers like an inconvenience. Won’t be coming back.

  Kelley the manager helped us as soon as we entered and then Brooke helped us at the table they were both very helpful and accommodating and the pretzel and shrimp apps we had were amazing !! Thank you both for a great restaurant experience that I have been to the first time! Will def return when in the area

  Just moved to the Colts Neck area and Stop by for lunch this afternoon with the wife for a quick to go order, we had an amazing burger and hot honey wings with knockout shrimp. First time customer I will definitely be returning to dine in next time and explore more of the menu
