  1 Star This was one of the worst restaurant delivery experiences I have had in a long time. I placed a DoorDash order totaling over $114 from On The Border in Cherry Hill, and it seemed like almost every part of the order had something wrong with it. The biggest issue was the packaging. One of the meal containers had a large cut or slice in the bottom of it. As soon as we lifted it out of the bag, food spilled everywhere, creating a mess and ruining part of the meal before we could even eat it. I specifically requested no guacamole because I cannot eat avocado. Despite that, guacamole was included and mixed directly into the other toppings, contaminating the cheese, sour cream, lettuce, and pico de gallo. At that point, it wasn't something that could simply be picked off. The chicken fajitas were completely incomplete. There were no tortillas included, no peppers, and no queso either on the meal or on the side. It's hard to understand how fajitas can leave the kitchen missing so many basic components. I also paid extra for additional sides and did not receive a single one of them. To make matters worse, the dessert that arrived was not even the dessert I ordered. The fountain Dr Pepper was equally disappointing. It had almost no Dr Pepper flavor and tasted like stale carbonated water. At over $114, I expected the restaurant to at least verify that the order was accurate before sending it out. Instead, I received damaged packaging, ignored food instructions, incomplete fajitas, missing paid extras, the wrong dessert, and an undrinkable beverage. The only reason this experience didn't cost me money is because DoorDash issued a full refund. That refund does not excuse the complete lack of quality control that went into this order. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this location.

  HORRIBLE!!! Arrived on a Saturday apx 7:45pm. They were only at about 15-20% capacity and hostess was going to make us WAIT for one of the 8-10 open booths... As she said they were short staffed. She sat us within 5-10 minutes after we questioned it. The waitress was good. The food however was horrible and cold!! Rice, beans, sour cream sauce all tasted like they had been sitting for hours. The mgr had been on the floor numerous times but never once talked to patrons, but he and other servers congregated in a booth chatting by 8:30pm.

  Pleasant staff, clean and ready to serve with whatever you needed. Bartender came over introduced himself and ask how the drinks were and we we not even in the bar area it shows signs of respect for what they do. The greater staff was polite and friendly along with the servers

  Been here a few times. Foods okay. Plenty of free thin tortillas and salsa when you dine in. Waitstaff is very attentive and cheerful. Food somehow makes my stomach unwell. It's just fairly plain clean rice and beans, etc, but I don't know if it's the salsa mixed with their sweet vinegraitte or what, but I can't stand the food. It's not that it's too oily or too much, but it just doesn't agree with me. -- The few times I've been here for pickup are awful. No one manning the take out. Like a dozen people standing around waiting. If you thought you'd order to go to save time. Think again. Waited around 40 minutes from an order ahead. On par with Applebee's food imo.

  TLDR service good, cold burrito with unmelted cheese and bland chicken. Long time customer with my first visits being all the way back in 2021, and this by far used to be my favorite sit down Mexican restaurant since Don Pablos closed forever ago. Last visit before today was march 29th, and the only thing i had noticed was the chips were extremely salty and the queso had a different taste, but otherwise the food was great. Now today my wife and i decide to go and service was great but the new menu was very disappointing. A lot of legacy items have been removed including my personal favorite, the big bordurrito. Thankfully our waitress said it was still in the system and was able to order it for me anyways. Unfortunately the burrito came out cold, the cheese never even melted and the steak isnt as good nor is there as much in the burrito as there used to be. My wifes fajitas came with jalepenos instead of the normal bell peppers, and the seasoning of chicken was very lack luster for the style of restaurant. Hopefully things can go back to how they used to be.
