Almost everything was delicious, and the prices are reasonable. However, I ordered the fish tacos and the fish was overcooked, chewy and dry. The other tacos in my friend's taco platter, especially the shrimp, were delicious, the mocktails/virgin margaritas were lovely, and even the chips and salsa was good. I'd definitely go back but just skip the fish tacos.
Good food, good vibes, and great staff!
For my main meal I got a shrimp taco, a lengua taco, and a carne asada taco. The flavors were very good and they did not skimp out on the meat and toppings. All the ingredients tasted very fresh. For my drink, I got an horchata that was really smooth and had a nice, strong cinnamon flavor.
Their salsa verde was so good, I literally came back a week later to get a 12oz container of it.
They also added extra tortilla chips, which were an added bonus. Most places only give them when dining in, so it was a nice surprise.
This is my new go to taco spot for sure!

I had a lovely time at Luna y Sol. I was initially apprehensive of how small the tacos were considering the prices. But the flavor did not disappoint. I highly recommend the taco americano plus ribeye. Worth the additional dollar! The jamaica agua fresca was also good. I had some chocolate and vanilla tres leches to go and every bite was lovely. Hope to be back with my family soon!
I can't comment on the atmosphere since I took out but this was not good. I get that food isn't always the best when taken out but eating in would not have saved this meal. My taco salad- the shell was soggy, especially bc of all the watery rice at the bottom. Hardly any veggies (this is a salad after all), so much crema. Hard pass from me on this one. My husband's ropa vieja...never seen any ropa vieja like this. The beef should be shredded, not chunky. Flavor was good though. Never seen a dish at this price point served with no rice. Luckily we had some 5 minute rice at home but wow. I got full on greasy chips and decent salsa. I wanted to like it, I was craving good Mexican, but this wasn't it.

Came on the right (and wrong) day — but still leaving five stars
Visited Luna Y Sol for the first time on Cinco de Mayo, so full disclosure — the staff was absolutely stretched between in-person, DoorDash, and online orders. You could tell they were doing their best to hold it together, and honestly? Respect to them for managing it as well as they did.
The food was good, the vibe was fun, and even with the holiday chaos, it was a genuinely good time. I'll absolutely be back — just on a quieter night so I can actually experience what this place can do at full capacity. Looking forward to it!
