  Yes yes yes all the food is delightfully superb yes. HOWEVER the real showstopper here at Davey’s, like so lowkey the best kept secret- the homemade blue cheese dressing. Yes. I was a blue cheese hater, a denier, and I looked at blue cheese devotees as one looks at flat earthers. Well this blue cheese dressing is made from scratch and it’s converted me. The first I had it was having a 007 with some wings and I asked for ranch but got blue cheese by mistake- it was an act of providence. I hadn’t ever liked blue cheese or the dressing but this shit was like indescribably good. It was a religious awakening and I swear under the churches of Bleu and Gorgonzola- you get the picture- it’s that good.

  Russ and the entire staff create such a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The food was good, and the vibes even better.

  Must’ve come on the wrong day. Food has always been pretty good. We did a takeout order. The main part of the entree (fish and chips, cheesesteak and veggie burger) were just fine. The issue were the cooked broccoli , fries and onion rings were not good. Fries were cold and soggy (the cheesesteak with it was pretty warm still). A few of the Onion rings had powder in it, like unmixed batter. Broccoli was overcooked but the stem was very tough. We will chalk it up as an isolated incident, and will try there again.
