  I will preface this by saying I’ve had Silantro a few times in the past at their prior storefront on Pine Street and really enjoyed it. However, I am beyond disappointed with the food we received tonight. We did a walk in order to go. My beef burrito had no meat in it - all rice. We also ordered a chicken quesadilla that had barely anything in it. It was mostly tortilla. I don’t know if there’s been a change in management or staff, but this is unacceptable.

  The food here is absolutely delicious. It is the best surprise in montclair Do urself a favor the next takeout i get u got to try this place.

  I rarely leave negative reviews, but this was extremely disappointing. We ordered just a few tacos and waited over 2 hours and ended up requesting a refund because they said it would be another 30 mins. Even on Cinco de Mayo, this is unacceptable. If a restaurant knows it will have a surge in orders, there should be proper preparation—staffing, timing expectations, or at the very least clear communication. If you can’t handle the volume, don’t take on the orders. Very disappointing.

  These tacos were great! Protein was perfectly cooked, and perfect amount of toppings. We will be back for sure.

  Food is okay but they've forgotten something the two times I've ordered since they opened last month. I live down the street luckily to go pick it up. But if you get this on Uber eats or something it may be annoying.
