- ESeric simonAug 23, 20261.0If you’re buying things that are packaged, this is fine. But when it comes to the produce, fruit, meat, it’s downright terrible. On multiple occasions, I’ve had to return fresh fruit that tasted terrible or was actually rotten. The entire seafood section is not put on ice. I have pulled moldy bread out of the display case and showed it to the manager. The overall quality of the “fresh” meat is poor. There was a watermelon that was rotting in the bin and another one that was split wide open and black inside. And the fresh salad and herbs wall is anything but. Much of it is wilting. And if you bring back an item for a return, you are not given an apology. They’ll give you the refund no problem, but it’s not met with an apology. I don’t know who is in charge of quality control at this location, but it’s abysmal and needs to change.

- DPDavid PaineJul 22, 20261.0I live in Cedar Grove and was passing through Montclair yesterday, so I stopped at Acme store to purchase a whole watermelon for $8.00. I rarely shop at Acme stores unless it's convenient, as it was last night. I cut the watermelon open this morning, and it was spoiled. I ended up throwing it away. The worst part is I really wanted watermelon. I believe customers should know about my experience.
