I had a wonderful shopping experience at Stop & Shop, and I especially want to recognize Peggy for her outstanding customer service. She was incredibly respectful, helpful, courteous, and genuinely pleasant throughout my visit. Her warm and professional attitude made me feel welcomed and appreciated as a customer.
Peggy truly went above and beyond to make my shopping experience enjoyable. It is employees like her who make a lasting impression and make customers want to return. Stop & Shop is fortunate to have someone like Peggy on their team. She deserves recognition for the excellent way she treats customers and represents the store. Thank you, Peggy, for making my visit such a positive experience!

Edit: Looked at my receipt. Recipt claims I earned 412 points. Had 93. App claims I earned bonuses that are supposed to be credited -should have gained 910 on this trasaction.
Also, had found a small wood piece (unsure if plant stem or actual wood) in a can of their store brand soup that I wanted help from them to know how to report it to their supply chain -but couldn't because customer service had closed for the day. So I would have to try again tomorrow. Probably going to be told to wait up to two days on the bonus points and that there is nothing they can do to help. Also noticed one of the bonus offeres triggered for something I didn't even buy.

As others state. The only benefits to this place are distance and cleanliness.
Had not been here in a while.
Customer Service shuts down at 7PM every day apparently. I've never heard of customer service shutting down before the store closing time with any other store.
They rearranged things. If you were used to the old flow you need to re-think your route through the store. You better adapt to picking up your pasta sauce before you get to the pasta isle, the frozen pastas, or the frozen breaded mozzarella sticks.
They made more room up front between the isles and the registers just to put 3-4 islands in the area to display 3-4 items they have bulk of. I don't think I have ever seen them utilize even 3/4ths of the manned registers -but maybe my tendency to shop later to avoid the crowds is why there are usally only 2 being manned.
Really sucks that I'm getting screwed out of customer service by shopping here later. I don't think they could give a clearer sign that it won't be too many more years before they start cutting back how long they stay open and then completely go under at this location if not nationwide.
I don't think ShopRite would move in though. Maybe a Whole Foods would be willing to. Whoever owns the center, which I assume Stop&Shop is renting the location space from, must charge the highest rent for the benefit of being so close to the retirement homes. The center isn't even that close to the really expensive properties in Monroe -ShopRite, Wallmart, Whole Foods, Wegmans, and Even Aldi's are closer (over more towards Rt 18).
Prices aren't great here on most things a famliy would want. Produce tends to equally so-so as if hoping old people don't have good taste buds anymore. Been that way even before they came in though. Bread still molds up days after purchase by time half way into a loaf. They were still having freezer failures before the remodel -something that once again, was always an issue at this location regardless what company was occuping the space. Not sure if they all got scammed by the same AC Refrigeration Company, if the doors are remaining open too long, or if there is a power issue in the building at the breakers that has never been addressed since the strip mall was constructed.
I typically don't have issues with the staff. I should probably be kind enough to mention that much. So, I think everything I have issue with is corporate originating decisions or issues that remained systemic to the location tegardless who was the name attached to running a grocery store here -which not one company has managed to ever reconcile. Shop&Stop has however held the location down the longest.
There used to be a PNC ATM in the store. That's long gone. Not sure if it was PNC or Shop&Stop who decided it. Used to be able to cash checks at the ATM that was here and it did give me some reason to actually come to this location even if I would only be picking up something to drink.
Maybe I'm missing insights to cruicial history events at this location that could explain better why there has been a sense of decline. Again, not that prices were ever really that good here. But it feels like even though a prior review about how shabby the place looked may have caused them to be granted a remodel, maybe my voice will cut through once more and I can at least get a few days in the week where there is customer service for the late evening shopping crowd.

Very clean is their only plus.
Service is horrible.
Deli counter.
1 clerk, 5 peropler waiting to be serviced.
Looked for precut Boars head HM Ham. Bin was empty.
Checkout...
12 registers but only 3 open for full service.
On line for 1st register.
The customer ahead of me had a product without a price
Instead of a supervisor getting a price, the cashier left to search the isles. After 6 minutes and no return I moved to another cashier.
At this 2nd register the customer ahead of me had 2 packs of spare ribs.
Buy 1 get one. The cashier was only able to scan the first pack. Second was unreadable. Cashier then tries to get attention of sole person at the service desk but that person was too busy selling lottery tickets.
Another 6 minutes passed before she came over.
Total time at registers was 14 minutes.
Not acceptable.
