  Visit 7/2/26 4:30 PM Very clean is their only plus. Service is horrible. Deli counter. 1 clerk, 5 peropler waiting to be serviced. Looked for precut Boars head HM Ham. Bin was empty. Checkout... 12 registers but only 3 open for full service. On line for 1st register. The customer ahead of me had a product without a price Instead of a supervisor getting a price, the cashier left to search the isles. After 6 minutes and no return I moved to another cashier. At this 2nd register the customer ahead of me had 2 packs of spare ribs. Buy 1 get one. The cashier was only able to scan the first pack. Second was unreadable. Cashier then tries to get attention of sole person at the service desk but that person was too busy selling lottery tickets. Another 6 minutes passed before she came over. Total time at registers was 14 minutes. Not acceptable. This is the only Supermarket in Monroe township NJ! 49,000 residents Seems like nobody cares.

  Very clean supermarket. Good sales and specials but overall prices are higher. I go here for quick fills, but major shopping would be too much!! Cashiers are friendly and customer service accommodating. There are many senior communities in the area so they have to be patient!

  The catering service is hit or miss, more misses. I have ordered at least 8 times in the past 2 years using the catering website, only 2 times was there no problem. My 2 orders for superbowl events had no problems and were ready for pickup. Ordering around non holiday's etc., they don't seem to receive or receive last minute. Catering is specific to an important event, not a good advertisement for the company to drop the ball. I received emails confirming my orders when placed, and received emails stating my order woukd be ready for pickup at date/time specified. When I went in, 4 of those orders the team at the bakery and deli never received. One order I had to leave empty handed because it was an 8am pickup, the other 3 the workers were nice enough to whip them up when I came in and showed them my email, but quality and presentation suffered on those orders, another order they must have received as I was coming in to pick up because they were just putting it together when I walked in. Last order I placed was for a tray of brownies for the seniors on the Monroe high school baseball team for pick up May 20th. Placed the order on May 8th. This time i called the day before pick up, & again, they didn't get the order. The girl said she didnt think they did online catering anymore, I said not true because I was able to get my superbowl and mothers day orders. So something is being managed terribly wrong at Monroe Stop & Shop. It's unfortunate because the company is losing business to its competitors, I've used Wegman's catering website and the quality is great and food is always ready when specified by the order. I won't use Stop & Shop for catering, if you do you'll have to walk in and fill out paperwork like it's 1995.
