  The place is nice and clean. Not a lot of seating, but it’s a nice place. Friendly staff. Some of the food was good, but the lobster rolls, not so much. Felt like there was not a lot of meat, it was overcooked, and dry. No butter. The lobster Mac and cheese was good as well as the fries. Coleslaw wasn’t the best and the fried pickles were fine. Sauces were good. I’m sure other food there is better, but the lobster rolls were disappointing. At $30 a piece, added a few extra pieces of lobster and some butter will go a long way.

  Absolutely fantastic restaurant! Every aspect was exceptional. The owner was warm and welcoming and treated us like old friends. The head server Eric was attentive and kind, and the food was unbelievably delicious. Prepared meticulously with every detail considered. I can’t sing their praises enough! If you’re around AC, I highly recommend making a trip to Margate and visiting Margate Fish House!

  this food is inedible! Ordered pick up and it was a waste. fish sandwich was grease. Pickle chips over salted. the lobster bisque gummy. Fish and chips came with fish and nothing else. great no flavor. The crab cake sandwich was 3 crab balls in a hotdog bun. No crab could be found. Same with crab bites. Threw in garbage. $117 !!!! Sick to my stomach. To your response you had only 29 reviews which could include friends. Bettys seafood shake has 210 and it is great, If you want to refiund me I would appreciate it

  Found this awesome little place by accident really while looking for alternatives to the larger eateries on the street here.. The food is EXCELLENT and the pricing is better than the other places with fresh seafood in the area...not over seasoned and perfectly grilled....the lobster mac is next level. Our waitress was attentive and responsive but we were the only table there lol. Dropped a star off the atmosphere line just due to the fact that the place is sparsely decorated because the food does the talking. They aren't really doing anything wrong in this area but a candle or two wouldn't have hurt the small dining room. We will be returning for sure 😃

  Fishhouse is the best new addition to Margate!!! The service was exceptional and the food was next to none. The lobster was wild caught and so tender. The plantains were the perfect delicate balance of sweet and caramelized, a charming addition to the Lobster Roll. Ordered the lobster roll “New England Style” with butter on a toasted roll, and the kitchen absolutely delivered!! The fish was so fresh and perfectly prepared. I couldn’t have asked for a better dining experience down at the shore!
