  This fish market and restaurant (byob) is so fresh, clean, delicious and the service is top notch! They are new and make everything made to order, prepared anyway you’d like. You can order fresh fish or sit and eat at the tables inside or outside. Don’t miss it! I’ll be back whenever Im in the area.

  Great experience from start to finish , Eric Gen Man did the serving and met Dave the owner. Lobster bisque and manhattan clam chowder along with the fish tacos and a oyster Po’ boy sandwich all excellent AAA +++ highly recommend

  What an outstanding restaurant to dine at. We were there Wednesday and the food, service and ambiance was so fantastic, we went back on Thursday. We plan to go back on Friday. Their menu is intriguing with so many delicious options, it’s hard to pick just one. First night I had the crab cake platter, husband had the fish and chips. My platter was excellent, though I kept eyeing up his dinner. His fresh lightly breaded fish looked delectable, so fresh and flakey when he sliced into a piece. My crab cake was broiled just right, texture and taste were wonderful. I had fried pickles, he had fried potatoes, both again, were excellent. Sides were coleslaw, which was very fresh and perfectly seasoned. Overall atmosphere is perfect if you are looking for a quiet dining experience. One where you both can chat and hear each other. Their servers are very much customer oriented, never overbearing, will discuss their specials and, recommend or compliment you on your choices. I wish every dining experience had servers such as theirs does. The next night we went again, both ordering the fish and chips, my chips were seasoned with Old Bay, his were regular seasoning. Oh my I was delighted with the flakey fresh fish, the fries are irresistible. We were able to meet the owner by chance, relayed he had an excellent chef. He then brought out the Chef so we could compliment him on such delectable dishes. All of the staff is superb, from the moment you walk in and are seated. As a bonus, we were able to sample their cheesecake delights. Individual pieces of tasteful cheesecake flavors, with favorable seasonal berries and whipped cream. Absolutely scrumptious and delicious. When one finds an outstanding restaurant like this, one goes back again and again. Simply to try out another delectable entree. Tomorrow night we go back, as their Lobster roll is my next choice. I look forward to it and can’t wait to enjoy other magnificent dining experience. Seating is limited inside, there is outside seating as well. They do take reservations. It is BYOB, if you wish. One is also able to purchase many fresh fish choices, to take home and cook if one prefers this. We both highly recommend this little gem of a restaurant on Ventnor Ave in Margate. Definitely has become our favorite restaurant in town. You will find their pricing is excellent as well.

  I already shared my review 3 days ago and it was not posted. Apparently they only post positive reviews. We have eaten there 3 times and this last time was not as delicious as the previous 2 times. The lobster rolls were very tough. I could write more but I will stop now. Just sad that the food is very inconsistent.

  I really enjoyed my experience at Margate Fish House! 🥰 Everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. We started with the crab bites and sesame-crusted tuna, both of which were amazing! For my entrée, I had the pan-seared shrimp and scallops with sweet potato fries and coleslaw. The portions were generous, and everything was cooked to perfection. And the fries with the MARSHMALLOW SAUCE are a MUST ‼️ The dessert sampler with assorted cheesecake flavors and fresh berries was the perfect way to end the meal. ❤️ Dave, the owner was so kind ! Overall, such a great experience—especially for seafood lovers! Fresh food, great portions, and it’s BYOB, which is always a plus. I’ll definitely be back to try more dishes!
