  A landmark for may decades. Best PEC I'VE had. Lovely view of the Manasquan Inlet.

  I cannot believe I paid $10.40 for this piece of dried cardboard burger. Besides the burger being burnt the green leaf was wilted and the tomato paper thin. Will never walk in there again. Took over 25 minutes and I was one of two other customers there watching the help flirt with each other while we waited. Terrible experience.

  We did the dinner and trolly tour. Tho we are local. Never been to Carlsons. It was just perfect. Was exactly what you’d think it be. Locally run and owned. Really great burgers etc. everyone smiling and happy. The trolly tour was a lot of fun too. Learned and saw a lot I never knew. I’m not sure anything beats a nice night and burger and fries from Carlsons Update. Went back tonight. 5 days later. Got the food to go. Burgers were not even close to the same as last week. Even taking it to go. It just wasn’t prepared the same. Meh on the onions. Burger wasn’t cooked right. Missing cheese on one. Needless to say. Disappointed. Was looking forward to it being a weekly spot. Not gonna happen for us.

  The original Carlson”s Corner sandwich is just ……… two pieces of bread, one piece of meat, some caramel onions. This is it for 10$. No tomato, no lettuce, no cheese …. Nothing else.
