  Came here for the wife’s birthday and did not regret it. Service was great, Jeff was friendly and attentive. From the drinks, to the ceviche and sushi appetizers, to the lamb and lobster fra diavolo, everything was fresh and delicious, not to mention beautifully presented. The tiramisu was a perfect way to end the meal. The food definitely justifies the prices. Will be back for our next special occasion.

  made a friday night res for 8:30. took an hour to be seated with the same "we're just waiting for a party to leave before we can seat you". Aside from that the food and drinks were very good. our bartender mixing drinks did an excellent job. we were seated but water was dripping on us. thankfully we had enough room but wasnt a great experience with all being said. the seafood plateau was very good but one of the dishes was smoked salmon and we thought that was not necessary / out of place. branzino and lamb were delicious and cooked to order. we didnt get home until about midnight and live about 10 minutes away.

  Fantastic food from start to finish, dress appropriately we were not but future reference. The fried rice is a must!! The A-5 wagyu was one of the best I’ve had in Jersey. The ricotta gnocchi was delicious. The broccoli didn’t have much taste unfortunately. Nori tacos were good but I wasn’t a real fan of the black truffle sauce on it. We did ask for it to be on the side but came on it anyway as well as on the side too.

  Nice looking space and very friendly servers. It ends there. We were impressed by the menu and buzz and came here for an early Father’s Day dinner. Service was very friendly from door guy to servers to floor manager. Atmosphere is insanely loud even though we were far from the bar. Outside of lobster and calamari appetizer, food was disappointing. Truffle fries were very dry and didn’t seem fried (maybe baked?). Skewers were dry. Salmon tacos lacked flavor. Medium done salmon was dry except for tiny rare middle. Branzino was ok as was chicken parm. It took forever for food to be served which was surprising since we got a whole heads up that chef insisted on knowing whole order to make sure service is right. Somehow paid 500 for party of 5 with just 2 beers and no steaks just fish. Poor value, loud experience and just not great food. It took them almost 1.5 hrs from our order to serve us appetizers and 1 main course. Thats nuts. Also we ordered 12 oysters and for some reason they came like 20-30 mins after the rest of our appetizers. One of the sauces seemed frozen. Considering that we came practically at opening on a Tuesday, there’s no excuse for any of this:. Hopefully they get better as the business unwinds.

He personally checked in to ensure everything was perfect, made sure our food arrived promptly, and graciously took the time to show us around the beautiful new restaurant. His dedication to excellence reflects the high standards Blu Livingston upholds. If you’re looking for incredible food, expertly crafted drinks, and five-star hospitality, Blu Livingston is a must-visit.
