Blu Livingston absolutely deserves its flowers! 🌟 From the moment you pull up, the exterior is gorgeous. Then you walk inside and the ambiance is just phenomenal. The entire restaurant is beautifully designed, and you can immediately tell that a lot of thought went into creating the experience. I’ll be honest — I was pleasantly surprised by the food. One of my girlfriends chose Blu Livingston for our girls dinner, and none of us really knew what to expect from the menu. Even after looking at it, we were having that little “Are we sure about this?” moment 😂 But I am SO glad we went through with it. The food was phenomenal and, more importantly, everything was cooked to perfection. The Lobster Diavolo was 🔥. The lobster was perfectly cooked, and we asked for the spice level to be toned down a little, which they did beautifully. Absolutely delicious. The Nori Taco - Wagyu A5 were a 10/10. I was honestly a little skeptical about the Wagyu because I wasn’t sure what the texture or consistency would be like, but WOW. It was phenomenal. The Caesar salad was another pleasant surprise. The presentation is a little deceiving because it doesn’t come out looking like the traditional Caesar salad we’re used to, but the dressing, texture, and overall flavor were excellent. We also enjoyed the truffle fries, and the rice cakes were a hidden gem! You see rice cakes and think, “Hmm…what are these going to be like?” 😂 Trust me — get them. Absolutely phenomenal. And we HAVE to talk about the Stargazer cocktail. ⭐️ This was the star of the show! Smooth, flavorful, and so well-balanced. I ordered several throughout the night, and I have to give the bartenders their credit — every single one made it perfectly. They had that drink down to a science! For four people, we spent approximately $400, including alcoholic drinks, so I would definitely say this is on the pricier side. However, you’re paying for the quality, presentation, atmosphere, and overall experience. If you’re looking for huge portions, this probably isn’t the restaurant for you. The portions are more curated and presentation-focused, but honestly, they were more than enough for me because I’m someone who likes to nibble and try different things. The owner did an incredible job not only with the design of the restaurant but also with maintaining the quality of the food and drinks. It shows. 10/10 — I would absolutely recommend Blu Livingston. 💙 And now I’m very interested in trying Blu on the Hudson, since I’ve heard it’s from the same owner. If Blu Livingston is any indication, I’m definitely looking forward to that experience too! I’ll definitely be attaching photos because the food was just as beautiful as it was delicious. 📸✨

It was great, went there for my anniversary and we didn't like where we were sat but the restaurant was more than understanding and gave us an amazing table in the green room with drinks on the house. I was very impressed with the service and the atmosphere. Perfect for our special occasion. The food was absolutely delicious, I had the pear spear wrapped in salmon, the blu sushi roll and skirt steak and it was delicious. All in all I can't wait to go back!

I made a reservation for my anniversary this Saturday night. I was excited to have a romantic ,quiet evening with some good food and a nice atmosphere. Plus I wanted to try this new place. I frequent many restaurants . I go to high end places and regular restaurants. I knew from perusing the menu on line this was a pricey place. When we entered it was nice, a doorman opened the door to greet us. Hostess said table will be ready in 10 minutes so we looked around. Here we are dressed up bc you state you have a dress code. Well, well. Many people had jeans on as I could see. I guess dress code is not enforced. Hostess asked me if I wanted high top table , quiet area or regular table. I asked for a quiet area with a low table Place was very crowded. We were then seated At a low table practically on top of others. Very close proximity the tables for two were . The noise level was beyond control. We couldn’t even hear each other talk. All the waiters and waitresses were running around and the pace was far from elegant and romantic evening. So I was disappointed from the beginning As for the food I asked the waitress if she had bread. She said they had bread service and charged for the bread but people were complaining so they ended the bread service. Being Italian we love our bread. So now we ordered. I had the filets mignon and had a side order of whipped potatoes and my husband had chicken parmigiana and whipped potatoes also. Pasta usually goes with the parmigiana but they had no side order of pasta. You had to order an entire pasta entree to go with your chicken parmigiana. It was good. Nothing out of the ordinary. Waitress was very sweet and checked on us frequently. That was good service on her part. I am glad I went to try it but for these prices I rather have a quieter atmosphere and better white glove treatment as I experienced in other expensive restaurants. This is my point of view but try it and make your own decision .

Food was mediocre at best in terms of quality and preparation, but the prices were entirely without merit. The atmosphere clearly attempts to be upper class, but clashes with the history of it having been an Olive Garden (which is clearly visible, despite their efforts). The service was fine enough, with the waiters and waitresses clearly doing their best while working at a sub-par establishment. The menu is confused between whether or not it wants to be a steakhouse, Italian restaurant, or sushi place, and thus does not even begin to succeed in any category. While I understand many of the ingredients they use to be expensive, they are not prepared in a way that uses them to their full potential and thus justifies the cost. Their cheapest steak and supposedly one of the best dishes they serve is closing in on $50, and even that is a ripoff. Their broccoli tastes like something from Chinese takeout, which while not bad in and of itself, is not what one expects from an establishment advertising itself as luxurious. The truffle was completely absent in both the fries and the butter for the steak, though admittedly the scent of it was still somewhat existent. This is my family’s first and last visit to this restaurant.
