SERVICE The service completely lacked basic etiquette. We were served by a gentleman who seemed very confused, and an older woman (who may have been one of the owners, which makes this worse). My biggest issue was the safety hazard and blatant rudeness. The waitress repeatedly reached over my 2-year-old’s head to clear and serve plates. When we politely asked her to stop for safety reasons, she ignored our first request. On our second request, as we physically shielded my child’s head, she barked, “I am being careful,” and intentionally continued passing plates over my child. We were so uncomfortable we moved my toddler to our laps. After moving my child, a party member placed her purse on the empty high chair. The same waitress grabbed the purse without a single word and dumped it onto the table next to our food debris. If she needed the high chair, she simply had to ask. There was also an unprompted water upcharge. Towards the end of the meal, the waitress opened a third bottle of water without asking us and poured it into our glasses. Worse, she poured still water into our original sparkling water, and we were charged $8 each for all three bottles. Overall, the staff was incredibly inattentive. It took a long time to get our food, yet no one checked in on us. When I declined a to-go box for my barely touched meal, the waiter didn’t even bother to ask why I didn't eat it. FOOD There was a 25-minute wait between our shared appetizer (clams, which were overwhelmingly salty) and our main courses. I ordered the Balsamic Tuna Salad, and it was awful. I requested the dressing on the side, but it arrived entirely drenched, wilted, and too sour to taste the greens. The included pineapple was unripe, crunchy, and tasted like the core. The rest of the food was just as disappointing. The pork chops were extremely dry, and the kids' flounder meal was far too salty. Even the bread service was dry and stale, tasting like it had been sitting around for days. The rest of the party noted the Octopus and Caesar salads were fine, but they certainly didn't make up for the rest of the meal.
