I have to find a different route to hit Dunkin’s for my family because this one is too incompetent to know what they have. There speaker/mic is either broke or the employees can’t hear because my wife wanted a Frozen Chocolatey Indulgence and I said that exactly from their online menus but the guy kept repeating back other items - protein drink, frozen coffee, chocolate coffee… after yelling it four times he finally got it. Then for my kids, I ordered a dozen donuts assorted but emphasised NO CAKE donuts because my kids don’t like them and they just sit there wasted - at almost $2 a donut I don’t want wasted donuts… he repeated that exactly back to me… At the window, I checked just in case when they handed it to me and four of the twelve were cake donuts. So I handed it back and said I asked for no cake donuts please. Perplexed, he held the box and stared. He opened it and looked at me. I said there are cake donuts in there my kids don’t eat them please change them out. He was confused, and responded something about limited edition donuts… I was getting frustrated, what are you talking about I asked for no cake donuts nothing about limited edition - put anything in there but cake donuts Jesus. Confused. So finally I said give me the “explicit” box, and looked at him saying you don’t know the difference between cake donuts and dough donuts? And you work at a donuts shop??? Explicit Christ! Learn the difference. So now I have four cake donuts sitting on my counter because as I knew - my kids ignored them. Note - this isn’t the first time they’ve struggled with knowing what they have and what they don’t… it’s irritating. There are fifty Dunkin’s close by - avoid this one… or go to a local shop I’m sure they know the difference
