America Runs on Racism
My parents have been loyal Dunkin’ customers for probably 15–20 years, and what happened to them today was completely unacceptable. My parents went into this location and purchased coffee and donuts my siblings. When they got back to the car and started handing out the donuts, they realized the donuts were hard and my mom’s coffee was cold. They simply went back inside and asked if they could get a hot coffee and exchange the hard donuts. Rather than simply resolving an issue over hard donuts and cold coffee, the situation was turned into a big scene about where my parents were from. A man named Tom, who I’m assuming is the owner or manager, asked my parents where they were from. My mom answered “Aberdeen,” but that apparently wasn’t what he meant he wanted to know what COUNTRY they were from. What does the country my parents come from have to do with a cold coffee or hard donuts?
My parents are Hispanic, and for the record, they are legally in this country. But they should never have to explain or prove their immigration status just because they asked a business to replace products they had just purchased. Tom then told my parents to leave and NEVER come back to his store. Instead of arguing back or making the situation worse, my parents decided not to say anything. They simply left the store upset and scared. That is the part that bothers me the most. My parents went into Dunkin’ over hard donuts and a cold coffee and walked out feeling intimidated and afraid because the conversation somehow became about what country they were from.
With everything happening in America right now, Hispanic people should not have to feel scared or uncomfortable simply going into a coffee shop and asking for an issue with their order to be corrected. My parents have supported Dunkin’ for 15–20 years. They deserved basic customer service, dignity, and respect—not to be questioned about their country of origin and told never to return. This situation never needed to become what it became. Replace the cold coffee, exchange the hard donuts, and move on. Instead, my parents left feeling humiliated, upset, and scared.
I sincerely hope Dunkin’ corporate looks into what happened at this location because this is not how any paying customer should be treated.

The staff is great i loved going there every day but now that they adopted the "no ice" tax i can no longer buy coffee at this location. Its not about being cheap or frugle I tip $1 every day but its all just too much now. Everyone needs to boycott these locations these taxes and hidden fees will not stop coming if we just keep paying them . Shame on the corporation

Usually a pretty good Dunkin, only had a few issues in the past with mistakes, but recently I either received the wrong coffee or the wrong food is in my bag, someone needs to be triple checking the orders before being given out, it’s extremely annoying and disappointing. No one wants a bad coffee.

To the respected Dunkin company, we ordered 4 pigs of twists, and all of them are burned, and we destroyed them because they are not suitable for food. We ordered at nine fifteen minutes.
