  I ordered a pollo guisado, beef empanada, and chicharron appetizer. Got home, and the chicharron was missing 😔. The empanada was good, but the guisado was weak for lack of better words. The gravy was thin, and overall it was bland. You’re using chicken wings for the meat, but the wings were not cleaned properly as they were still hairy. Kinda of a let down for $24 bucks

  Great to see a Puerto Rican restaurant near the beach! Good spot, solid food. They even gave us samples to try before getting started which was well appreciated!

  We stopped here after walking around Keansburg because I've been looking for good Spanish food, and when I came across this authentic Puerto Rican spot, I knew I had to come. The two people running the place are kind and generous, offering us free samples before we made our purchase. And yeah, all of the food was excellent. The empanadas, the guisados, and the pernil were all top notch. We'll be coming back in the future for sure.

  Loved their rice and gandules, the flavor was spot on. The alcapuria was phenomenal 👏 I will def be back. The chef put his foot and elbow in it. SO so yummy.

  :Jamie and Nono were incredibly considerate with my order. Even though they didn’t have the beef empanadas available, they went out of their way to accommodate me with a delicious carne guisada instead. Really appreciated the great service and flexibility!
