BYOB so know this ahead. We brought a bottle of wine we'd been saving since our honeymoon, and it was a great decision. paired incredibly well with what we had. I came here by recommendation of someone "From a long line of swamp people" (his words). I haven't been to NO, but I'll say that the food and service are damn good. Went yesterday for Mother's Day lunch, and I apologize for no pics of the food, but we really were just enjoying ourselves. We had the Jambalaya, cornbread, mac and cheese and crawfish fritters. Get extra butter for the corn bread (personal preference) and make sure you put hotsauce on everything. The mac was baked to perfection. Fritters went great with the hot sauce, and as someone that grew up on rice-based dishes, I LOVED the jambalaya. The meat to rice ratio was excellent, a constant mistake made in places service jambalaya. Seasoned perfect. Rice cooked perfect. I want to personally shout out Daniel and Hank for dealing with a LOT. You have to give people grace when there's a lot going on, and they were incredible. Not to say that service was slow, but it was a busy afternoon. I saw them dealing with other patrons in ways that it must take the patience of a monk. If I had a complaint it's that the tables are a bit too small, especially for the order we got plus the bottle we brought, so I docked a star in the atmosphere section. GET THE BANANA PUDDING. In summary: Go here if you want really good food and service. Bill came out to like $60 minus tip. Worth it. We'll be back!

Visited for the first time this week. In a word: Dreamy! I had Cajun blackened catfish with okra, my daughter had crab cake sandwich and we shared mac and cheese. Yummmmmmm....and I've never cared for okra! Every bite was excellent. The ambiance was lovely, the music was cool. I live in the area and I plan to visit often!

I am a bit skeptical about dining at New Orleans style restaurants outside of NOLA, however Krewe did not disappoint. The food was soooooo good! We had the chargrilled oysters & barbecue shrimp. The sauces in both made you want to lick the dishes they were served in. Both of the gumbos, the collard greens, cornbread, & catfish served over grits were very tasty. My least favorite was the Mac & cheese, but it wasn’t bad. And the BREAD PUDDING! WHAAAAAT?! Ridiculously good!!!
Our server was great but unfortunately I cannot remember his name. (We were there 4/28/2026.)
We will most surely return and we traveled by train from Brooklyn!
Sorry (not sorry) that we didn’t take photos. There was no time for that. 😎
Lastly, it’s BYOB which was okay with me.

We will be back again for sure! The passionfruit-mint-lemonade-tea special beverage was refreshing and well balanced. We got the grit fries and chargrilled oysters to start and they were both fantastic. Our entrees (blackened tofu bowl and shrimp etouffee) were excellent as well. And to top it all off our waiter Daniel was friendly and helpful, top notch service.
