Went here for brunch with a group of 6 and were pleasantly surprised to find they have a dedicated Jain menu - a huge plus if you're looking for Jain-friendly vegan food in the area. We tried the Zucchini Nuggets, Cauliflower Bites, Chickpea Burger, Veggie quesadilla and Black Bean Burger. The Zucchini Nuggets were a standout, and the Piña Colada was excellent too.
Service was a bit on the slower side, but the staff took the time to walk us through the menu and were genuinely thoughtful about dietary restrictions. The owner even brought us a complimentary drink she'd been experimenting with using different greens, and asked if we had any recipe ideas to help expand their Jain menu which was a nice, personal touch.
Great spot for brunch, especially if you're vegan or Jain and tired of limited options. Will definitely be back!

I must say this is one of my favorite vegan restaurants in downtown Jersey City. I absolutely love the food and variety of food option. My favorites are spinach and mushrooms empanadas, coliflowe bites, Filipino lumpia, maple wood smoked tartare, pesto pasta. Must try there key lime pie andstrawberry cheesecake. I have a great time with my friends and I strongly recommend this place if you're vegan or not.

I recently dined at this exceptional vegan restaurant, and it truly stood out as one of the best I’ve visited. The food quality was excellent, with generous portions that felt both satisfying and thoughtfully prepared.
As someone who follows Jain dietary guidelines, I was deeply touched by the owner’s kindness — she went out of her way to prepare special off‑menu items just for me. That level of care is rare and speaks volumes about their commitment to hospitality.
The staff was consistently courteous, and the entire space was spotless, creating a calm and welcoming dining experience. Overall, this restaurant delivers outstanding food, exceptional service, and genuine warmth. Highly recommended.
My first time visiting this place, I got the fish and chips, and it came with potato wedges.
The potato wedges were very okay-ish, a tad bit oily and not entirely cooked through in the middle.
The fish was made out of soy, and this was decently good, which is why it’s 3 stars. But I probably wouldn’t order this again.
The service was quick, attentive and reasonably good.
But it’s definitely pricy for the offered food. $30 for fish and chips is kinda lot.

My visit to Gaia & Loki was absolutely amazing. From the moment we walked into the cozy and unique space, we knew we were in for a treat. This is more than just a meal; it's a culinary adventure! The menu is full of creative dishes that blend flavors and textures beautifully. We tried the "Katsu Cutlets" which were crispy, flavorful, and came with a delicious dipping sauce. The potato wedges and the beautiful presentation with the orchid flower were such a nice touch. It's clear that the team behind Gaia & Loki takes incredible pride in their food and the overall experience. The service was also top-notch, with friendly and attentive staff. I highly recommend giving this place a try.
