- LBLyla BarrettSep 7, 20261.0Manger was very unprofessional!! I went this morning to get a refresher. It came with green-tea instead of lemonade, but I realized we never clarified what I wanted. I was waiting to go back up to the counter to ask for another drink, since it was partly my fault for not saying lemonade, and partly the managers fault for not clarifying what I wanted the refresher made with. I was waiting in the line behind one customer, but the cook came up and asked if she forgot something. I replied “no, I just ordered this wrong and was going to ask to exchange it for lemonade” she then said, “we don’t have lemonade!” After that, the manager had a very rude tone and injected herself into the conversation. Saying “If customer doesn’t say what they want how am I supposed to know.” Which I responded by saying “I know it’s my mistake, but I was coming to you to exchange it.” Then I said “if it’s that hard, don’t worry about it” I tried to leave, but she yelled at me to come to the counter and motioned for the drink back. I gave it to her and she poured out my drink, put lemonade (which they magically got in the last 4 minutes) in the exact same cup (CROSS CONTAMINATION) (imagine if I was allergic to green-tea). Overall, I got what I wanted, but the transaction of getting there was insane and I could still taste the tea in the cup.

I see some other reviews complain about the staff being rude, I have never experienced that, but I have found that there drink are frequently worse and orders are wrong. There are two other Dunkin's within close walking distance, and after trying all three multiple times this one is the worse.

The manager was one of the rudest people I have come across in New Jersey—there was absolutely no politeness and her attitude came across as very judgmental and unprofessional. Customers deserve to be treated with basic courtesy and respect. If someone is unhappy in a customer-service role, perhaps a position with less direct customer interaction would be more suitable. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and addresses the way customers are treated. Very disappointing experience.
