  First time visit - Good ambience, authentic Maharashtrian food taste, good quality and convenient parking. Must try the Misal Pav, it was the highlight for me. The Tarri Poha was just okay. The service, however, could be much better. It felt a bit cold and impersonal—no smile or interaction, and the food was simply dropped off and the server walked away. A little more warmth and hospitality would definitely improve the experience.

  Nagpur Saoji has become my go-to restaurant whenever I’m craving authentic Indian food. The food has a genuine Indian taste and ethnicity that makes every dish feel truly authentic. Ever since I discovered this place, I haven’t felt like I’m missing Indian food here in the US! The management and staff are extremely friendly and always recommend excellent dishes based on the occasion. Pravin, in particular, has been incredibly friendly and helpful and always makes sure we’re well taken care of throughout the meal. Both the vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes, especially the Maharashtrian cuisine, have consistently exceeded my expectations. I would definitely recommend Nagpur Saoji to anyone looking for authentic and flavorful Indian food!

  I genuinely love the food at Nagpur Saoji. I’ve tried almost all of their flagship Saoji dishes — egg, shrimp, chicken and mutton — with bhakri and solkadi, and honestly, everything has been so good.They also have a really good selection of vegetarian dishes. The flavours and spice level remind me of home. Everything is cooked perfectly, and the spice is just right. And you absolutely have to try the Sev Bhaji! As a Mumbaikar, having a place like this in Central Jersey makes me really happy. There are certain flavours that just take you back home, and this place does that for me. The staff here is also genuinely wonderful. A special shoutout to Joe — he’s such a kind and thoughtful server. He remembers what we’ve ordered before, remembers our feedback, and recommends dishes accordingly the next time. He’ll also check in at the end of the meal and ask how everything was. Those little details really stand out and make the whole experience feel personal. They have seasonal faral and sweets. For those of us living away from home, it’s really special to have a little piece of home here in Central Jersey. Great food, wonderful people, and flavours that feel like home. Definitely one of those places I’ll keep coming back to!

  We had such a great time here! The Thalia were absolutely amazing — everything was bursting with flavor, beautifully prepared, and tasted incredibly fresh. Every dish we tried was better than the last, and you can really taste the care and authenticity that goes into the food. We were genuinely impressed! Highly recommend the bombil fry if you a fan. But what really made our experience special was Joe, our server. He was fantastic from the moment we sat down! He was incredibly friendly, attentive, patient, and knowledgeable about the menu. He made great recommendations, checked in on us throughout the meal without ever being overbearing, and made sure we had everything we needed. You could tell he genuinely cared about making sure we had a great experience. Joe is exactly what you hope for when you go out to eat — welcoming, professional, attentive, and genuinely personable. His service took an already great meal and made the entire experience exceptional. We left completely satisfied and already talking about coming back! Great food, great atmosphere, and phenomenal service from Joe. Nagpuri Soaji is definitely a place we’ll be recommending to friends and family. 5 stars without a doubt!

  We have visited Nagpur Saoji multiple times because we absolutely love both the food and the ambience of this place. Some of our favorites include the Saoji Shrimp Masala, Egg Curry, Saoji Chicken, and Goat Masala, each dish is flavorful and holds up to the expected spice levels. However, what makes our experience memorable every time is the hospitality. Even when the restaurant is busy, the servers make sure that every guest feels well taken care of. For us, Joe deserves a special mention. He always makes us feel genuinely welcomed, remembers our preferences, and goes the extra mile to ensure we have a great overall experience. That kind of personal touch and hospitality is what keeps us coming back. Looking forward to visiting Nagpur Saoji many more times in the future!
