- JPJDM Promos4 days ago2.0Overpriced special and a major disappointment I stopped in last night to check out Fig & Tomato as a potential venue for our 12-member men's club. Since it was my first time, I asked the waitress for recommendations. She was very friendly and attentive, suggesting a few menu items and two specials. She didn't mention the prices, and I assumed they would be comparable to the rest of the regular menu. I ordered the cod special (pictured). Unfortunately, the food was nothing to write home about--it was way too salty and heavily overpowered by garlic. The real shock came with the bill: the cod was $47.95. I've been to true fine dining restaurants that don't charge that kind of money for cod, and I was incredibly upset. I told the waitress directly that the special felt like a massive ripoff. While the service itself was pleasant, the predatory pricing on unlisted specials ruined the experience. I guess I'm just glad I checked it out alone first--saving us from having 12 angry club members writing 12 terrible reviews. Needless to say, our club will be taking our business elsewhere.

Maria went above and beyond helping us plan everything, and her service and attention to detail were exceptional both before and on the day of the event. She made a difficult time so much easier for our family. The food was absolutely incredible. The Amalfi chicken, pasta dishes, and stuffed mushrooms were all delicious, and our guests had so many wonderful things to say about the meal. A special thank you to both Maria and Ailish, who took such wonderful care of us the day of the repass. Their service, warmth, and hospitality truly meant so much to our family. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for an incredible meal, beautiful hospitality, and a team that genuinely goes above and beyond for their guests. We are so grateful for everything they did for us.
