La Sangam Caffe in Harrison, NJ serves some of the most authentic South Indian non-veg food I’ve had in New Jersey. The Non-Veg Thali was flavorful, satisfying, and packed with variety, while the Thalapakatti Biryani was absolutely outstanding — aromatic, perfectly spiced, and full of authentic Tamil-style flavor. Highly recommended for biryani lovers!

Dindugul Chicken 65 Biryani was aromatic and full of flavor, with perfectly cooked rice and juicy chicken. Gobi Manchurian was crispy, spicy, and incredibly satisfying. Great taste, generous portions, and definitely worth trying again!

Delicious & flavorful South Indian food! Mouth watering tasty food! Great quantity and quality! Served by kind staffs! Take out many times but dined in for the first time! I want to give 5 stars for atmosphere but table that was near the window was a bit congested so it could be improved by adding more leg space. Everything else was amazing!

I recently visited La Sangam Cafe and had a pretty disappointing experience. I ordered the South Indian thali, but there weren’t many varieties included, which was underwhelming. The fish tasted spoiled, which is a serious concern. The biryani was just okay—nothing special. Another issue was the food temperature. Most of the items, including the carrot halwa, were cold. The halwa in particular should have been served warm, but it wasn’t. What really stood out negatively was the pricing. The menu prices didn’t match what we were charged. After finishing the meal, they increased the price, and when questioned, the response was simply that they would “let management know,” which is not acceptable. Overall, very poor experience in terms of food quality, temperature, and pricing transparency. Would not recommend.

Visited La Sangam Cafe and tried their Ghee Karam Punugulu which is absolutely outstanding! Crispy golden outside, soft and fluffy inside, topped with spicy karam powder, fresh onions, curry leaves, and rich ghee flavor that makes every bite delicious. Served hot with delicious chutney, and the taste was authentic and full of flavor. Perfect snack with great quality and freshness. If you love South Indian snacks, this is a must-try item. Highly recommend this place!
