  I reallllyyyy wanted to like this place! I’m all about supporting local small businesses. I even posted it on my story! I really do not write bad reviews like this. honestly the food wasn’t bad, it just lacked flavor and spice. Chicken tikka had way too much sugar. It was probably made to fit the western palate which I don’t blame them. Chai was NOT authentic chai at all like you get from other Indian restaurants, where it’s creamy and aromatic. This one didn’t have milk and it was watery ($4 really?). I barely touched it. The male server was nice, but the female server left me in complete disbelief. I could tell from the start her energy was off. Upon checkout she accused me of paying with a FAKE $100. But they didn’t have the marker to check for it. I even questioned it myself and apologized over and over- truly not knowing. While I was getting my Apple Pay on my phone - she said she would call the cops on me and insisted she KNOWS it’s a fake bill. Anyways I go to TD bank to verify, they scanned the bill verifying it was indeed a real $100! I had proof, and returned to show her -the bank even marked it on the bill. The waitress yelled at me in front of other customers and disrespected me- said to never come back. She even tried to take my bill from me even though she said it was fake! Wildest experience of my life. I still tipped them $10 but they didn’t deserve a dime. I’m upset with my experience especially bc I have a local business in Haddonfield and truly wanted to support them. I’m literally a doctor and would never scam anyone, let alone my own people. She commented about the bags that I had on... Idk what this woman’s issue was? That I briefly said I didn’t like the chai? That’s insane. Why would you accuse your customer of that and call the cops on me? The bigotry and discrimination against your own desi people is truly sad and despicable.

  Disappointing visit. Korma was watered down and rushed. Kitchen starts to close down around 8pm even though they close at 9:30pm.

  The absolute best in town. Always consistently amazing meals. Just the absolute best service overall. Never had a bad meal or experience here after all these years of dining there.

  INDIAN BUFFET RETURNS !!!!!! Everything was fresh and delicious. Service is wonderful. Great experience
